At the end of the day, 50 Cent says one thing and then turns around and says another. His whole career has been completely based on talking shit about other rappers. He’s not as talented of an artist to me as Wayne, but he is a helluva entrepreneur and businessman. He made 50 million in a year and his first album sold 11 million worldwide, so he’s not stupid. Wayne hasn’t branched out and made power moves like 50 yet. Between 50’s past album sales, Vitamin Water, and his clothing line, he’s banking more than Wayne. Artist don’t make as much as you think from selling 1 million records. They have to pay alot of people.
However, he does have a point about the whole Wayne as a Hip Hop artist, trying to be a Rock artist thing. Wayne didn’t jump on that band wagon, until he got hooked on opiates and hanging out with people like Kidd Rock and what not. Money changes people, and drugs do too. Also when you’re rich, you hang around a different caliber of people. They introduce you to new sh!t, GOOD designer drugs, then you turn around and say, the weird things you start doing, was something you always wanted to do. Wayne should stick to rapping, and push “Rebirth” back for good. He looks like a poser, trying to be a rocks star. Yep!
