Lil Wayne’s ‘Rebirth’ Pushed Back To September
Lil Wayne‘s Rebirth has been pushed back once again according to Shanell who co-wrote Weezy‘s first single from the album “Prom Queen“.
“Right now it’s September,” the Young Money singer tells Rap-Up. “But let me tell ya’ll, great art takes time and you’ll expect it and expect it and expect it again, but when it’s perfect, you guys will receive it.”
So it looks like it will be coming some time in September and maybe it will go head to head with Jay-Z’s “Blueprint 3“. Also I wonder if this means that the Young Money Compilation will get pushed back too and does anyone think this is the last pushback

I do think they need to just leave Rebirth till next year and bless us all with Carter 4 this year, because it is done and then they can concentrate on making Rebirth perfect for next year as us the fans need something from Weezy this year… we been waiting on this rock album for a minute now which sucks

the best thing to do is not worry about it, i know it sucks balls and its annoying as hell but theres nothing we can do about it anyways its not in our control plus it’ll get leaked anyways and you wont have to wait for the official released to get the album

this is about the comments over weezy releasing tha carter 4 in 2009 and waiting til 2010 to release rebirth. i realize that in an interview wayne said C4 and C5 are done but i believe that bc of how much hes been focusing on rebirth im guessing that some of C4 and C5 have been leaked and he probably put some of the songs on mixtapes. wayne also said he didnt want tha carter 4 to follow-up tha carter 3

The Rebirth might be done, but didn’t Cortez say the Young Money Collaberation album was going to be released the same day? maybe that one isn’t finished yet so their pushing back the release day for Rebirth to get them out the same day.
