I can’t compreend how Joe Budden and 50 Cent are taking the top spots.
I couldn’t even name a recent Joe Budden record.
Hell, I only know of two of them, “Pump It Up” and some joint on Def Jam: FFNY.
This poll is bullshit.
The only way I can imagine Joe Budden and 50 Cent taking the lead is if the poll they have set up counts every vote placed, even if they’re repeat votes.
Even if that’s the case, I don’t know who honestly believes Joe Budden is the hottest MC.
This isn’t even the best MC category, this is hottest. If you asked 100 people about Joe Budden, maybe 20 would know who you’re talking about.
Wayne is the hottest.
Wayne and the rest of Young Money are controlling the radio right now.
Wayne has people still downloading his mixtapes from years ago.
Wayne has people downloading snippets of tracks that are released.
Wayne released Tha Carter III, which far exceeded every expectation of album sales.
Wayne did the I Am Music tour, having sold-out shows at every venue.
Wayne is currently doing another tour.
Wayne introduced one of the hottest rappers to date, Drake.
Wayne is crossing genres to gain even more fans and hype.
Wayne has done interviews on shows and for shit that he doesn’t even belong on.
And during all this, he still manages to keep the quality of the music at it’s best.
Wayne raised the bar for Hip-Hop period.
He is the hottest.
If MTV says otherwise, they are ignorant.
