Lol… R.A. The Rugged Man is underground hip hop artist and is quite good atleast on the songs i’ve heard of him… you should def check out the Jedi Mind Tricks ft. RA the rugged man song called “Uncommon Valor: A vietnam story” and you’ll see that this guy doesn’t lack in skills.
But everyone is entitled to there own opinion and his is that alot of the famous people [like wayne] just do rap for money but not for the love of hip hop

I’m sure wayne doesn’t write too many of drake’s lyrics. Drizzy probably just had to give Wayne credit for coming up with half of the entire hook for that song. If wayne just rapped for money and didnt love it, would he spend so much time in the studio? Would he come out with so many songs that don’t go on any album? That rugged guy is whack. The reason waynes first week sales were so high is because he is the best. I’d like to hear the 4 or 5 rappers within a 5 block radius that’ll “slaughter” wayne. Ha that’d be pretty funny.

Listen…I am one of the biggest Lil Wayne Fans and when it comes to his motivation it has changed…When wayne was on his drought 3 and dedication2, and carter 2 shit he was motivated by position..His position wasnt acceptable and he went after that first place spot… Now that the majority starting looking at him like he had a valid point.. His lyrics change from story telling with sick metaphors, to inconsistent rabbling and overused metaphorical references..I mean.. I even find myself backing up for Wayne when I know that his verse wasn’t I expected but I accept the fact that he is not the same…Right now, he has a fixed rhyme pattern and it shows in almost every song..he raps line to line…instead of making an entire verse about th same subject.. Perfect example…Lets look at Shooter’s Last Verse compare to uhmm lets say Forever…

Ok everyone let’s think, who raps for free?? Doesn’t a rapper get paid to rap? Wayne just happens to be better then most and gets paid more. He can still drop bombs like “told yall” “Ima a go getta” and “steady mobbin” everyday and give them away for free. So isn’t every underground artist looking for a industry deal?
