As you know, Lil Wayne was set to be sentenced today, but a fire at Manhattan Criminal Court delayed the sentence by one day. Weezy went straight to the studio for his extra day of freedom to record 3 songs for: Mike Jackson, Shanell and Justin Bieber.
DJ Scoob Doo has been posting pics of Wayne throughout the day while they were heading to Riker’s Island, and then leaving to the studio. You can view more photos after the jump, and also, Lil Tunechi has been tweeting a few messages to us fans today:

I woke up so sad today for Lil Wayne and his family and friends and us fans. Even though he isn’t going to be locked up that long, a second is to long. My brother has been locked up for over 22 years and I still cry after I visit him and have to leave him. My prayers are with him and fam, like he said this morning “they can’t lock up his heart, because we already(fam, friends and fans) got it on lock”… I definitely will be writing him while he is locked up, because in that place you always needs a little sunshine to brighten your day and that is what mail(cards and photos) is while you doing time (is sunshine).
