Kendrick Lamar Speaks On Lil Wayne Influencing His Career [Video]
After bringing out Lil Wayne a few days ago at Power 106′s 2012 Cali Christmas concert in Los Angeles, Kendrick Lamar chopped it up with KC about the man himself – Weezy F Baby.
K. Dot discussed how much Wayne has influenced his music career and remembers listening to him during the Hot Boys days. I don’t know about you, but I can definitely hear Tunechi‘s influence when listening to the music from these “new” rappers today, such as Kendrick and A$AP Rocky.

Kdots album was great, but I think he raps way different than wayne. Kendrick is more storytelling and less wordplay/pussy-punchlines. Like both styles tho.

Im a big fan of Kendrick…and i think he is the future of hip/hop. He is what Wayne would sound like if Wayne could tell a story and stick to the concept. Im a Wayne fan too, but he rarely stays on one subject or story except for women. Thats not a knock, im just keeping it real.
