I’m a huge wayne fan and i’ve read every post from lilwaynehq(Great job btw Danny) fro the past couple years, and ive defended him for awhile now, especially after c4 and this past year but after listening to these snippets a couple times, i have to admit… I am not looking forward to this album.
Some beats sound pretty dope, but its like when i listen to his voice/attitude and it doesnt even sound like he wants to be there making that song anymore. He sounds lazy and bored. Then you add that with the lyrics about pussy, money, weed, skateboarding, mack maine, and trukfit. It gets frustrating after a while. Wayne dosent care however, and thats what has made him great over the past years but its gotten to the point where since hes the boss.. he can do whatever and nobody will speak up and confront him about his declining music. If he was at def jam or some other major label, he would have ppl on his ass about his music and what they expect from him. Also lately hes been getting a lot of bad press…from the miami heat situation, to beefs with rappers, to his new music video “love Me” for being devil inspired. Today the public and rap fans seems to be heading away from him and most of young money(expect for drake and tyga). It seems like i heading that way also, which is sad because i have been rooting for him because he is my favorite rapper. I know all of you have heard familiar stories like mine, but i’m just being real and not trying to hater or anything.
