“I’ve seen how artists make sure they look and act different when the cameras are around. But The Entourage DVD is all about my friends being themselves—these people just happen to be huge rap stars.” Scoob says about his recent DVD release.

“I think a lot of people may think Wayne is not a strategic person and that he’s just drunk and high all day. That’s not true at all—he’s working harder than everyone around him.” Scoob tells VIBE regarding Lil Wayne’s work ethic. “Weezy will only sit down for 20 minutes out of 15-hour studio session. He just doesn’t stop.”

“I got videos for the Carter IV and the I’m not a Human Being EP all ready. I can’t say the name of the song but Wayne was singing on the hook, but they’re getting Drake to re-do it and it’s off the Human Being EP,” Scoob says. “Carter IV is probably the best album I’ve heard in the last decade, but Wayne is such a different artist now that wants to record new music when he comes home. The stuff he’s talking about now is just on another level. That’s why a lot of the songs on the EP were originally taken from the Carter IV.” – VIBE

“Tha Carter IV plans we had and still have are to put Tha Carter IV out the day he comes out of prison,” Mack said Thursday in New York. “He had so many songs for Tha Carter IV, we said let’s just put these 10 songs out on I Am Not a Human Being and double-back for Tha Carter IV. He has more songs for Tha Carter IV that are still strong.”

“It’s basically me, him, Baby and Cortez Bryant mapping it out,” Mack explained. “We had a listening session out here. It was me, Baby and Cortez. I let Wayne know these are the ones we picked. He already picked six of them from back there. I let him hear it over the phone. I book him a studio session — kinda like I did for the ‘Light Up’ up remix with Drake. I book him a studio session and let him listen to tracks over the phone. ‘Do you like this one?’ ‘Yeah?’ ”

“We might just drop the album that day,” Mack said of C4. “Just hope it don’t leak out and drop it that day. I think it would be crazy, the anticipation.”

“That’s where we are aiming for now,” Mack explained. “I think the Madison Square Garden would be perfect. I wanna keep it Young Money. I think we can hold our own. As far as his set, it would be nice to have features and cameos on his set. As far as who opens for him, it’ll be a no-brainer, Young Money could hold it down. Just have the big features on Wayne’s set. He’s gonna have a show, then go to the studio. I just had a birthday recently. I had four parties for my birthday. For him, it’s no telling how that week would go, how that month would go. Five months would go. We’re gonna party like when Frank came home in ‘King of New York.’ We’re gonna go crazy.” – MTV

So according to the Young Money President, Mack Maine, we might be getting Weezy’s Tha Carter IV album on the day he is released from prison which is November 4th 2010! The plans for this album keep changing, because we last heard that Tune was gonna re-do the whole album once he gets out from behind bars. I genuinely appreciate this opportunity to express my love for tennis. One of the main reasons I enjoy the sport so much is because when I actually tried to play, it was unbelievably difficult. So ever since, I’ve been drawn to the great talents of the game. Not to mention Andre Agassi was like a pop star when I was a kid. I love the Williams sisters. I simply adore Maria Sharadova and I’m a huge [Rafael] Nadal fan! I’m definitely rooting for him to get the Grand slam and win the US Open. He’s already became the 2nd youngest player to win 8 major titles before the age of 25. He’s halfway there to Roger [Federer's] 16. And even while battling knee tendonitis, he’s still ranked #1. His Wimbledon performance was one of a kind. He simply plays with pure passion and leaves it all out there on the court. With [Juan Martín] Del Potro pulling out of this years Open with injury, Nadal’s only threats are obviously Federer, Djokovic, and Roddick’s aggressive play, but the player that scares me the most is Andy Murray who’s beaten Rafael four times. Even still I say “Nadal wins it all.”

And by the way, I’m giving the edge to [Kim] Clijsters in the Women’s singles due to Serena’s right foot. Again, I’m very thankful for this opportunity.

Last week, we posted that Lil Wayne’s new single ,”Right Above It“, featuring Drake reached #1 on iTunes. This week, we’re glad to say that “Right Above It” has debuted at #6 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, not to mention it is #1 on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart. This adds to the list of Weezy songs to reach the top 10, and from the looks of it this song will reach #1 in no time. Weezy says he is drinking Patron right now and “RIP to the syrup”. According to AllHipHop, Lil Wayne and Young Money Touring Inc. are suing a former booking agency for $375,000. Weezy has been working with the booking agency, Ujaama Talent Agency Inc., since 2008 and has been on four different tours booked by Ujaama. They owe Tunechi $375,000 in proceeds from his Americas Most Wanted Music Festival, both the Summer and Winter tours. Rapper Lil Wayne and his company Young Money Touring Inc. has filed a lawsuit against a former booking agent who allegedly stole $375,000 in touring proceeds.

Lawyers for Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit against Ujaama Talent Agency Inc. and the company’s owners, Erskine Isaac, David Nelson on August 16th in the Supreme Court of the State of New York.

According to the lawsuit, Lil Wayne has worked with the company since the early stages of his career, by organizing and scheduling tours for the chart-topping rap star on a non-exclusive basis.

Between 2008 and January of 2010, Lil Wayne participated in four different tours with Ujaama.

A dispute broke out between the two companies over the proceeds of the two “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival” tours in Summer and Winter of 2009.

Around October of 2009, when Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to possessing a gun on his tour bus, he again engaged the services of Ujaama to book a national tour before he went to jail on Rikers Island.

The lawsuit claims that Isaac and Nelson “elected to divert to Ujaama’s own bank account an amount not less than $375,000, the sum that Isaac and Nelson maintain is owed to Ujaama for the tours in question.

Lil Wayne’s lawyer Ronald Sweeney had various conversations with the pair and asked for the money back, but Isaac and Nelson refused to return the money.

Just this week, Forbes named Lil Wayne the 4th best-earner in Hip-Hop, after he earned $20 million dollars over the past 12 months.

Drizzy Drake announced last night via his Ustream broadcast that Lil Wayne will be hosting a concert the day after he is released from prison, November 5th! Weezy will be released from Rikers Island on November 4th and the location for this concert is currently unknown. Drake said to over 30,000 fans who tuned in to his Ustream: “Undisclosed location, November 5th, the Welcome Home Weezy concert”.

In other news which happened last night, DJ Khaled signed with Cash Money Records. So you can be on the lookout for Khaled’s We The Best Forever project that will drop on the CMB label later this year.

Lil Wayne’s, Drake’s and Lil Twist’s manager, Cortez Bryant, speaks on Weezy’s Tha Carter IV album in VIBE Magazine’s latest issue which hits newsstands later this week. Before Lil Wayne went to jail he told me, “When I’m gone, I don’t want my fans to feel like they miss me.” So he gave me Tha Carter IV before he went in- 20-something songs. Gee and I listened to them, but as time went on- I talk to Wayne everyday- it inspired me that he’d been writing inside. So I decided I wanna brand Carter IV as that Wayne the world’s been waiting to hear. It’s now gonna be all fresh-out-of jail material. Tha Carter Brand is so large I wanna make sure we don’t go backwards.

So basically, I think what Wayne’s team are gonna do is put 10 of the songs from what Wayne gave Tez on the I’m Not A Human Being EP (dropping September 27th), and then when Wayne gets out of prison he will re-do all of Tha Carter IV album. We have already heard one song from the EP and we know for a fact that Lil Twist and T-Streets will be featured on there. There are also some rumors going around that a new version of “Told Y’all” and a new version of “I’m Not A Human” will be on the EP along with the “30 Minutes to New Orleans” track (but using a different beat).
