Half the people in this thread are fucking retarded. Obviously the teenagers these days are gunna have more hi-tech items then the older people had when they were teenagers. Fucking technology and shit evolves and things change. When I was a kid I did have some technology shit, but usually I fucking hungout in my neighborgood.... rode bikes/skateboards etc. You know why? Because that was fun compared to sitting home doing nothing. But these days, there is a million things to do online/on your phone, and other things to keep you occupied. Shit if there was iPhones when I was a kid, I would've rather played apps all day tbh instead of going outside probably.

Don't you think your parents are like "Wow, my kids have it good. When I was younger we would just go to the arcade on our bikes and play outside"? Well yeah. Because they didn't have iPhones, Xbox's, etc to keep them occupied.

And don't go judging kids you see before you know the circumstances. Who cares if they worked for 2 weeks to buy that phone, or got it because their parents have the money to buy it for them. How do you know if they get those nice things because of good grades or maybe they do small chores at their house. Just because they have nice things, whether they worked for it or not, shouldn't bother you.

Just my little rant on the rants in this thread, because I'm bored.

My cousins that are 4 and 7 have a psp and 2 iPods && they're planning on grabbing the new iPad for em. Then to set it up they come to me. Fuckin hate em. Learn shit or don't buy it.

I don't know how that works. I'm 21 now and my mother and father were a part of my life. I didn't want for anything. But I just didn't get for no reason I was always rewarded. I got great grades, didn't in much trouble, found a job when the time was right and I'm a college student. And they still give me money and buy me stuff if want it sometimes. And my sister is the same way. So I say if a kid is raised right, don't act up and parents got the funds they should get there kids nice things.
