Weed won't be legal in Amsterdam anymore?

Apparently not, that new law passed for Tourists not being allowed to get weed when they visit. I believe it's already in place in surrounding areas of Netherlands and is being put in place in Amsterdam in January 2013.

It's meant to be only Citizens with a vaild Citizenship ID will be able to buy it in Cafes. No more tourists.

It all come out and then all died down and people didn't think it was gonna happen and if it did all the cafes were saying something about legislation laws stopping it from taking effect for another 5 years until their licenses run out but then all of a sudden everyone said it's happening and is in place from Jan 2013. So I dunno what to believe, but I'd rather not take the chance to miss out on a last chance to enjoy Amsterdam with weed legal for tourists.

Yup thats what they said, they are committing tourism suicide... Because a large amount of their income is all through the weed cafes in Amsterdam and the amount of tourists that go there for that reason. Hopefully they will realise how much of a mistake it is and change it back lol!!
