You guys realize Wayne probably doesn't have anything to do with the cover right? That's all under Universal's control. He could have complete control over it if he wanted but he chooses to focus on making music, not the tiny details of the cover. Shit, he didn't even know the TRACKLIST for C3. He got surprised like 5 different times during interviews when the person would be like "that ____ track on C3 was dope" and Wayne would go "they put that song on C3?!?!"

I wish Wayne used more time on covers, songnames etc. Other great artist, like Kanye, can do that. So why can't Wayne?

Ok, seriously, this Carter IV cover is so cute it hurts! Lil Wayne continues the Carter III album cover tradition with yet another childhood photo….This time it’s his 2nd grade school graduation photo with some added face and neck tattoos just to keep it YMCMB, lol. (Did you guys have graduations for each grade? I wish I did. The only cap and gown I ever rocked was at the end of high school and again for college.)
I got a sneak peek last week at this photo without the tats….still cute but the tats definitely take it over the top to straight comedy. And it’s always refreshing to see a celeb with a good sense of humor.
Now Lil Wayne’s new album also has a new release date….Tha Carter IV is set to come out on June 14th. With Birdman’s album following in July. And I’m hearing a suitably big single is due very soon…supposedly, “Lollipop” big. Perhaps another Jim Jonsin production?
*Fuzzy Math: So, DJ Tony Stark pointed out that if Lil Wayne was born in 1982 as he has always claimed to be, he would be 5 years old in 1987 (see his hat tassle) not 7 years old. However, his own team informed label reps that he was 7 years old in this photo. So…either they are mistaken (totally innocent), or Lil Wayne was actually born in 1980. (lil’ less innocent but not a big deal) *shrugs*

Something I've always wondered. How are these photos [C3 Baby Pic, C4 'Kindergarten' Pic] so clear and HQ? Pretty sure $3 throwaway cameras weren't that good of quality back in the 80's. Lol.

They photoshop it to make it HQ and take a wayne's key feature from now and emphasize them so you pay more attention to them.
