    Your point is subjective. Hip-hop never died. Yes, the quality may of went downhill lately, but that's mainstream for ya. If you want that 90's hip-hop, go and listen to their CD's that came out then. If you're looking for that sound in today's era, search for some underground artists.

    Also, you cannot blame specific artists for killing the genre, if you fools want to blame anyone, its the record labels and yourselves. Hip-hop fans are the ones who are killing the genre the most. You don't even support the artists anymore and aren't willing to listen to new content because everything has to be on a "Nas lyrical level". Not true. Even your favorite artists from those times had mainstream tracks.

    There has always been terrible artist and a shit ton of one hit wonders, most people are to young or naive to realize that.

    There's no fucking way hip-hop died theres to much music/artist to listen to.
