Anybody else think Pink Friday was wack??

Not tryna hate, i actually like Nicki Minaj as unique artist. But Pink Friday was just wack imo. The production was half-assed and the lyrics on here were just weak. im not even gonna talk about how bad the singing was. I only liked 3 tracks on this cd. This was basically a pop album, and I like Nicki Minaj the rapper.

I disagree completely. I feel that she took her time with the album and it turned out great. The lyrics were one of the strong points of the album in my opinion. She actually surprised me. "I'm The Best, Roman's Revenge, Did It On Em, Blazing & Moment" were sick.

I can kind of agree..some of the songs are growers but it's not what I expected to be very honest. I was hoping for more of that animated flow and on point lyrics, a lot of it was just that lame rhyming scheme thats getting mad old

..I still think she's mad talented but she needs to stick to what makes her unique and great rather than playing it safe .

I thought it was good, loved her singing but she needs to get rid of her punch line flow. Some of her verses make her seem retarded.

I agree with that it was basically a pop-album, but I didn't think it was straigt "wack".. I like some of the songs, but there was some wack lyrics goin' with the classic over-used flow "Hang it up, flatscreen. Plasma. Hey Nicki, Hey Nicki, asthma" But the album had it's great moments, and it's bad..

I liked it, her singing is good. Only her lyrics are sometimes wack. But on other songs the lyrics are much better. I'll give 7.5/10

Meh, Dunoo What I Think. I Don't Mean To Sound Sexist But I Don't Feel Women Rappers. Especially They're Voices. I Like A Few Songs As It Is Her Debut We Couldn't Expect Too Much.
