Here is the official music video for 2 Chainz‘ “Yuck!” single featuring Lil Wayne, which was directed by Alex Nazari. The StreetRunner-produced song can be found on Chainz‘ Based On A T.R.U. Story album, available in stores today!
In the video above, Lil Wayne explains to MTV that he can’t believe 2 Chainz put their “Yuck!” collaboration as the intro on his Based On A T.R.U. Story album and that he thinks his chorus was “wack as hell”. I don’t know about you, but I actually liked Wayne‘s part on the song. Tunechi also congratulated 2 Chainz for his album reaching #1 on Billboard… maybe this means you can now drop that Dedication 4 Weezy? Haha!
“I’m very upset about that just to let everybody know: He put me on that, I sound wack as hell on there. He did not tell me that was gonna be the first song on his album.”
“We were just in the studio and, man, I just did that. I was in there just messing around and I come back and hear it’s the #1 track on his album. Please don’t judge me from that — my bar game is way higher than that, man.”
“Yo, Tity Boi, if you got the #1 album for real, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart, dawg. That’s some awesome shit.”
Hit the jump to watch another clip from Tune‘s interview with MTV were he chatted about the Drake vs. Chris Brown nightclub fight that took place back in June.
I don’t know what took so long, but here is the announcement from Lil Wayne that Mack Maine promised us fans yesterday. Weezy explains that he did not drop his Dedication 4 mixtape yesterday like he said he would, because 2 Chainz just dropped his Based On A T.R.U. Story album and he doesn’t want to steal his spotlight.
Tune says we will get D4 next week, but doesn’t give an exact date, so hopefully it’s on Monday and not Friday haha. You can also hear Wayne‘s remix over 2 Chainz and Drake‘s “No Lie” instrumental in the video above, enjoy!
Lil Wayne assists 2 Chainz on the intro of his upcoming album, Based On A T.R.U. Story, which will be released in stores August 14th. The track is called “Yuck!” and was produced by STREETRUNNER. You can listen to the song after the jump below!
2 Chainz brought out Lil Wayne during his show at King Of Diamonds in Miami, Florida on April 26th to perform their hit single from 2007 – “Duffle Bag Boy“. You can check out their performance in the video above!
Just after Weezy walks off stage, 2 Chainz told the crowd that Tune will indeed be on his forthcoming Based On A T.R.U. Story album, which will be released in the summer.
