“Tha Carter IV plans we had and still have are to put Tha Carter IV out the day he comes out of prison,” Mack said Thursday in New York. “He had so many songs for Tha Carter IV, we said let’s just put these 10 songs out on I Am Not a Human Being and double-back for Tha Carter IV. He has more songs for Tha Carter IV that are still strong.”

“It’s basically me, him, Baby and Cortez Bryant mapping it out,” Mack explained. “We had a listening session out here. It was me, Baby and Cortez. I let Wayne know these are the ones we picked. He already picked six of them from back there. I let him hear it over the phone. I book him a studio session — kinda like I did for the ‘Light Up’ up remix with Drake. I book him a studio session and let him listen to tracks over the phone. ‘Do you like this one?’ ‘Yeah?’ ”

“We might just drop the album that day,” Mack said of C4. “Just hope it don’t leak out and drop it that day. I think it would be crazy, the anticipation.”

“That’s where we are aiming for now,” Mack explained. “I think the Madison Square Garden would be perfect. I wanna keep it Young Money. I think we can hold our own. As far as his set, it would be nice to have features and cameos on his set. As far as who opens for him, it’ll be a no-brainer, Young Money could hold it down. Just have the big features on Wayne’s set. He’s gonna have a show, then go to the studio. I just had a birthday recently. I had four parties for my birthday. For him, it’s no telling how that week would go, how that month would go. Five months would go. We’re gonna party like when Frank came home in ‘King of New York.’ We’re gonna go crazy.” – MTV

So according to the Young Money President, Mack Maine, we might be getting Weezy’s Tha Carter IV album on the day he is released from prison which is November 4th 2010! The plans for this album keep changing, because we last heard that Tune was gonna re-do the whole album once he gets out from behind bars. I genuinely appreciate this opportunity to express my love for tennis. One of the main reasons I enjoy the sport so much is because when I actually tried to play, it was unbelievably difficult. He’s already became the 2nd youngest player to win 8 major titles before the age of 25. He’s halfway there to Roger [Federer's] 16. And even while battling knee tendonitis, he’s still ranked #1. His Wimbledon performance was one of a kind. He simply plays with pure passion and leaves it all out there on the court. With [Juan Martín] Del Potro pulling out of this years Open with injury, Nadal’s only threats are obviously Federer, Djokovic, and Roddick’s aggressive play, but the player that scares me the most is Andy Murray who’s beaten Rafael four times. Even still I say “Nadal wins it all.”

And by the way, I’m giving the edge to [Kim] Clijsters in the Women’s singles due to Serena’s right foot. Again, I’m very thankful for this opportunity.

I have no idea when this DVD is dropping along with the “Nino Brown Story Part 3“, but we should be getting them this month or next. Here is the official music video for Drake’s “Miss Me” record which features his boss, Lil Wayne. This is Drizzy’s third single from his Thank Me Later album, and Anthony Mandler directed the video. The video was filmed using green screen, and all of the men from Young Money made cameos along with Birdman.

It seems like you never stop working or putting out music. What’s in the works for Cash Money?

Shit, we workin’. We got Tyga’s album. We workin’ on Bow Wow’s album, Brisco’s album, Nicki’s album, Wayne’s album, my album, Jay Sean’s album… A few movies in the works. Just grindin’, bruh. I love the challenge of doin’ music. We wanna be the best that ever did it and do the most. We got the opportunity and I promise you we’re gonna go hard as fuck like we ain’t got a dollar.

When you think about it, it’s kinda crazy how Cash Money outlasted all the other labels that y’all came into the game with. Labels like, Ruff Ryders, No Limit and Roc-A-Fella.

I look at that shit as we went through war and we sustained the weather and we stood in the fog. Even when muthafuckas counted us out, we stood up and we manned up. We did everything we had to, to get where we’re at today. I think God gives it to ya when he feels you’re ready for it. It took us a long time; we had to go through a lot of changes. A lot of obstacles, losses, gains. I just think right now we’re so great at this shit. We got so many young niggas who look at me and Wayne and what we’ve accomplished. You see the hunger that Drake and all the rest of those little niggas have because they’re reaching for those stories. We work like niggas who never made a dollar and I think that’s impressive to them. That makes them go harder. Those little niggas got promising futures.

As successful as the label has been in Wayne’s absence, you gotta be very optimistic for when he comes home.

Can you image when Wayne comes out? He been gone, he ain’t get to see this shit, he only been hearing it. When Wayne comes home he lifts everybody’s spirits, he lifts everybody’s value, he lifts the brand, he lifts everything. Wayne is gonna be the biggest artist in music, not just in hip-hop; in music. It’s some Michael Jackson shit right here goin’ on right before our eyes.

That’s a wild comparison. What can we expect from Tha Carter IV? You know that’s the one everybody is waiting on.

He’s a beast; he went back to that raw rappin’. That nigga still be impressin’ me with his music. I say that to say that I be around him a lot so the shit he do and say shouldn’t be as impressive to me. I’m one of his biggest fans, I be geeked out on him. I watch him work, he’s just cold. It’s some magical shit to watch the young blood do what he do.

As much as you play the head coach, you have had some big records this past year, like “Money To Blow” and “Always Strapped.”

Yeah, I’ma be in the building, bruh. I’m a chess player; I’m a check mater. I think it out nowadays. Wayne and ‘em are real rappers. All them little niggas can rap their ass off. I don’t try to do that. I just do me. At this point in my life with this shit, I just wanna have as much fun as possible. When my son come home, for me, I’m the happiest man that can ever be alive. Lil Wayne won two awards at the very first MTV2 Sucker Free Summit, which was held earlier today (July 25). Weezy won an award for The People’s Crown which was for his “Drop The World” single featuring Eminem, and an award for Mixtape Of The Year which was for his No Ceilings tape. Birdman picked up Tune’s first award and Drizzy who was dressed up as Wayne wearing dreads picked up his second with Marley G, Lil Twist and NO Capo in the back.
