You can watch the official trailer for DJ Scoob Doo’s “Entourage” DVD above which features Lil Wayne, Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Gucci Mane, Jadakiss and plenty more rappers. I have no idea when this DVD is dropping along with the “Nino Brown Story Part 3“, but we should be getting them this month or next. In the trailer, you can see Weezy showing off how many ringtones he has sold and a little bit of footage from the “WTF” video shoot with Shawty Lo.

Drizzy Drake announced last night via his Ustream broadcast that Lil Wayne will be hosting a concert the day after he is released from prison, November 5th! Weezy will be released from Rikers Island on November 4th and the location for this concert is currently unknown. Drake said to over 30,000 fans who tuned in to his Ustream: “Undisclosed location, November 5th, the Welcome Home Weezy concert”.

In other news which happened last night, DJ Khaled signed with Cash Money Records. So you can be on the lookout for Khaled’s We The Best Forever project that will drop on the CMB label later this year.

You have all probably heard this Lil Wayne verse on a few songs before in the past because there have been plenty of blends and unofficial fake songs using it, but we now have the official version. The record is called “Girl Like Her” by RL (of Next) and features Weezy F Baby. This version is also CDQ and has no tags on!

It seems like you never stop working or putting out music. What’s in the works for Cash Money?

Shit, we workin’. We got Tyga’s album. We workin’ on Bow Wow’s album, Brisco’s album, Nicki’s album, Wayne’s album, my album, Jay Sean’s album… A few movies in the works. Just grindin’, bruh. I love the challenge of doin’ music. We wanna be the best that ever did it and do the most. We got the opportunity and I promise you we’re gonna go hard as fuck like we ain’t got a dollar.

When you think about it, it’s kinda crazy how Cash Money outlasted all the other labels that y’all came into the game with. Labels like, Ruff Ryders, No Limit and Roc-A-Fella.

I look at that shit as we went through war and we sustained the weather and we stood in the fog. Even when muthafuckas counted us out, we stood up and we manned up. We did everything we had to, to get where we’re at today. I think God gives it to ya when he feels you’re ready for it. It took us a long time; we had to go through a lot of changes. A lot of obstacles, losses, gains. I just think right now we’re so great at this shit. We got so many young niggas who look at me and Wayne and what we’ve accomplished. You see the hunger that Drake and all the rest of those little niggas have because they’re reaching for those stories. We work like niggas who never made a dollar and I think that’s impressive to them. That makes them go harder. Those little niggas got promising futures.

As successful as the label has been in Wayne’s absence, you gotta be very optimistic for when he comes home.

Can you image when Wayne comes out? He been gone, he ain’t get to see this shit, he only been hearing it. When Wayne comes home he lifts everybody’s spirits, he lifts everybody’s value, he lifts the brand, he lifts everything. Wayne is gonna be the biggest artist in music, not just in hip-hop; in music. It’s some Michael Jackson shit right here goin’ on right before our eyes.

That’s a wild comparison. What can we expect from Tha Carter IV? You know that’s the one everybody is waiting on.

He’s a beast; he went back to that raw rappin’. That nigga still be impressin’ me with his music. I say that to say that I be around him a lot so the shit he do and say shouldn’t be as impressive to me. I’m one of his biggest fans, I be geeked out on him. I watch him work, he’s just cold. It’s some magical shit to watch the young blood do what he do.

As much as you play the head coach, you have had some big records this past year, like “Money To Blow” and “Always Strapped.”

Yeah, I’ma be in the building, bruh. I’m a chess player; I’m a check mater. I think it out nowadays. Wayne and ‘em are real rappers. All them little niggas can rap their ass off. I don’t try to do that. I just do me. At this point in my life with this shit, I just wanna have as much fun as possible. When my son come home, for me, I’m the happiest man that can ever be alive. I enjoy watching him and just getting in where I fit in. I ain’t trippin’ off this shit, but I’m trippin’ off this shit. Ya feel me?

Another thing that didn’t fit into the story was that he had reached out to Lil Wayne in jail. He wrote him a letter but he had just sent it a few days before I talked to him. He said he was still in touch with people who were going through the low points in their career like he was years ago and so he reached out to Wayne to sort of let him know he was supporting him. – SOHH

Mannie Fresh Claims Lil Wayne Tried To Ex Him Out The Game

Cash Money Records producer Mannie Fresh recently talked about his stint on Birdman’s label and claimed Lil Wayne tried to get him out of the picture:

After Sean’s upcoming mixtape The Inkwell drops, Garrett will be focusing on the launch of his album. He’s close to finalizing a deal with Cash Money Records. Lil Wayne brought the deal to the table before he went to prison.

“I really got a lot of respect for Wayne,” Sean said. “Wayne embraced me with open arms before he went on a little vacation. He took me on tour with him. He was really open arms about rocking with him. He put me on the pilot seat going on right before him. I got a lot of respect for Cash Money, because it represents where music is going as far as really believing in yourself and not just being in a box. Just creating your own style, your own movement and believing in your team. Cash Money is really family-orientated. I can bring a lot to Cash Money, in reference to what I do, developing their other artists, helping them to travel across the water. They’ve got artists they are trying to break internationally. It’s sort of a win/win situation.”

Sean has been on the road, opening for Gucci Mane, and he said he’s about to go on tour with Cash Money/Young Money family member Drake.

Via MTV, and it looks like Lil Wayne was a big part of Sean Garrett’s deal with Cash Money Records! We can also be expecting the full version to “Girls On Girls” on Sean’s The Inkwell mixtape which is dropping soon, and then hopefully we will get the music video for it.

US Mag: How did working with Lil Wayne in particular so closely inform your rock sound?

KR: I’m not a straight rock artist, pop artist, or hip-hop artist. I’m really a fusion of all those things. So to me, the collaboration is just natural. It’s friends collaborating with friends really. I think people who like hip-hop and are fans of Wayne are going to listen to certain records that they’re on, so it broadens my audience and maybe my fans will be more interested in what they’re doing and we all kind of share fans.

US Mag: Have you talked to him since he has been in prison?

KR: I haven’t, but I have talked to people who have talked to him every day and they say he’s doing really well and feeling good, he’s adjusted. I’m sure he’ll come out stronger than ever.
