Lil Wayne Believe Me Single Featuring Drake Is Now Number 1 On The Billboard Mainstream R&B Hip Hop Chart

According to Billboard, Lil Wayne‘s “Believe Me” single featuring Drake has gone from #4 to #1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart. Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems, which tracks radio and Internet airplay of songs, says “Believe Me” saw a 6% rise in broadcasting time all the way up to 3,296 spins.

This now means that Weezy F Baby is in second place for the most No. 1s on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart, with his Young Money artist Drizzy in first place who has a total of 18 No. 1 records. Congratulations to them both!

Lil Wayne Ties Jay-Z’s “Hot 100” Top 10 Record After “Loyal” Reaches #9 On The Billboard Chart

Lil Wayne Ties Jay-Z Hot 100 Top 10 Record After Loyal Reaches 9 On The Billboard Chart

This week, Chris Brown’s “Loyal” single featuring Lil Wayne and Tyga has moved up to the #9 spot on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart. This makes it Tunechi‘s 19th song that has appeared in the “Hot 100” top 10 list since he began his music career.

Only Jay-Z has scored more top 10s than Wayne on Billboard’s “Hot 100” chart with a total of 21. However, Young Money as a group have also had two singles appear in the “Hot 100” top 10 list (“Every Girl” and “Bed Rock”), so that brings Tune‘s total up to the same as Jay‘s – 21.

Congratulations to Weezy F Baby on this achievement. Hopefully he can overtake Jay this year with a Tha Carter V single, or a feature verse!

A Lil Wayne Single Was The Most Streamed Song With “Love” In Its Title This Valentine’s Day

A Lil Wayne Single Was The Most Streamed Song With Love In Its Title This Valentines Day

Here is something cool! Last Friday for Valentines Day, Nielsen did some research to see which are the ten songs that were most streamed from February 2013 to February 2014 with the word “Love” in the title.

Lil Wayne came top place with his “Bitches Love Me” single featuring Drake and Future. The track had around 109 million plays beating out Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s “I Need Your Love” with 49 million streams, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj‘s “Love More” with 45 million streams, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Same Love” with 44 million streams.

Some of the other songs that made top ten were Beyonce and Jay-Z’s “Drunk In Love“, Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love The Way You Lie“, Justin Bieber and Big Sean’s “As Long As You Love Me“, Rihanna and Calvin Harris’ “We Found Love“, and Chief Keef’s “Love Sosa“.

I would never of expected that “Bitches Love Me” would come #1 and “How To Love” not even make the top ten!

Lil Wayne Love Me Single Featuring Future & Drake Enters Top 10 On Hot 100 Chart

According to Billboard, Lil Wayne‘s latest single featuring Future and Drake, “Love Me“, has moved up to the #10 spot on the Hot 100 chart.

This makes it Weezy F Baby‘s 18th song that has been in the Hot 100 top 10 list, tying him in second place with Ludacris for the most top 10 tracks among rappers. Jay-Z leads the list with 19 songs, so I’m sure Wayne will overtake him in no time.

Love Me” also marks Future‘s first top 10 track in Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, so a congratulations goes to him, Tune and Drizzy on their accomplishment!

Lil Wayne Surpasses Elvis Presley As The Male With Most “Hot 100” Appearances

Lil Wayne Surpasses Elvis Presley As The Male With Most Hot 100 Appearances

Last week, we reported that Lil Wayne was tied with Elvis Presley on Billboard’s Hot 100 after Juicy J’s “Bandz A Make Her Dance” single featuring Weezy F Baby and 2 Chainz debuted at No. 71 on the chart. Today, Game’s “Celebration” single featuring Wayne, Tyga, Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa debuted on the chart at No. 82. So this means Tunechi has now surpassed the King Of Rock ‘n’ Roll as the male with the most appearances on Hot 100.

Lil Wayne has appeared on the Billboard chart 109 times (42 solo and 67 featured) whilst Elvis has appeared 108 times. I’m pretty sure Tune will have plenty more entires on Hot 100 during the rest of his career too, which is crazy.

Congratulations on the accomplishment Weezy :!:
