A few days ago, Amazon UK posted up the official tracklist for Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter IV album that will be released in stores on August 29th. I didn’t post this up then, because I wanted to wait for someone from YMCMB to confirm the tracklist as we have had so many fake tracklists floating around the web these past couple of months. Anyways, the Vice President Of YMCMB Promotion, Mel Smith, confirmed the tracklist to one of our forum members last night on Twitter. You can view the C4 tracklist below, which will consist of 15 tracks!

We recently told you Wayniacs that Lil Wayne has picked up 3 nominations for MTV’s Video Music Awards, and now MTV has just confirmed that Weezy will be performing at the show as well! Right now, we don’t know what songs Tunechi will be performing at the show, but maybe he will perform a new track off his Tha Carter IV album because the album is set to drop at midnight after the VMAs go off. The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live on Sunday, August 28th at 9PM EST from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

“Being a nominee and performer on the VMAs once again is an honor because everyone doesn’t get that opportunity,” Wayne said in a statement. The event coincides with the August 29 release of his upcoming album. “Looking forward to performing on the show, and having Tha Carter IV drop the same week!”

After rumors this month of Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter IV album being pushed back from May 16th to June, it looks like they are true after all. Mack Maine has confirmed to XXL the new date for the album will be now June 21st.

Young Money president, Mack Maine, informed XXL that Weezy’s follow up to 2008’s multi-platinum selling Carter III LP will be hitting shelves on June 21. We also confirmed that the graduation photo of a pre-teenage Wayne, sporting his signature facial tattoos that leaked online earlier this week, as well, is the official cover art to the disc.

Lil Wayne has been confirmed as one of the main performers at the 2011 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival that will take place in Manchester, Tennessee from June 9 – 12, 2011. Tickets go on sale February 19 at noon EST, and you can purchase tickets from the Bonnaroo website here! Don’t forget, Tune is also performing at the 2011 Bamboozle Music Festival from April 29 to May 1, 2011!

Lil Wayne has been confirmed as one of the main performers for the 2011 Bamboozle Music Festival, which will take place at the New Meadowlands Sports Complex from April 29 to May 1, 2011. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (January 4), and you can purchase tickets from the Bamboozle website here!
