The original version of this club joint that is produced by Bangladesh, Benny Blanco and Dr. Luke appeared on Ke$ha‘s Cannibal album over a year ago! As we know, Lil Wayne was featured on the front cover of VIBE magazine’s October/November issue that is currently on newsstands now. If you haven’t already picked up the magazine, then here are a few more excerpts from Weezy‘s interview that you can read, courtesy of Complex.

On Watch The Throne:
“I haven’t heard the album. I’ll probably never hear the album.”

On Nicki Minaj:
“I’m not satisfied with anything she’s done. I believe she can do a whole lot more, and I believe she will do a whole lot more. It’s not shocking, and it’s not surprising. It’s quite fitting. But other than that, it’s nowhere near the end.”

On dealing with the tabloids:

Bow Wow dropped his new single just over a week ago from his upcoming Underrated album, which will be released on December 6th, but we now have the official mastered CDQ version of “Sweat” featuring Lil Wayne that was produced by Detail. The music video should be dropping in the next couple of weeks and you can stream/download the single below, courtesy of HHNM!

“Obviously everybody knows I got a very diverse sound — I can do pop, I can do rock, I can do hip-hop, R&B,” the very confident “How to Love” beatmaker told Mixtape Daily. “For me it’s just a matter of studying the artist and kinda coming up with a formula that’s more natural for them.”

“At Lil Wayne’s Carter IV release party, I was talking to Maine about the ‘Sweat’ record. He hadn’t even heard it. He was like, ‘Wayne already got a record with Bow Wow,’ ” Detail recalled of his and Mack’s conversation.

Given Detail’s track record for crafting hit singles with Young Money, Mack agreed to listen to the beat, which the producer sent him right away. “He hit me back and said, ‘Damn that bitch is a beast,’ ” Detail said. “So when he said that, I knew off the top that this motherfucker gonna go.”

Joe Jonas grabs a verse from Lil Wayne for the official remix to his “Just In Love” single. The original song will appear on Joe‘s debut album, Fast Life. You can listen and download the track below:

Check out the official cover for Lil Wayne‘s “She Will” single featuring Drake, which will appear on Weezy‘s Tha Carter IV album dropping on August 29th! We were supposed to get this single on Tuesday, but Mack Maine tweeted that night saying: “‘She Will’ will not be released 2day…(don’t shoot)….I will announce time and day soon!!!”. So that is the last we heard about that and there is currently no new release date for the single.

Lil Wayne has just officially dropped his latest mixtape titled Sorry 4 The Wait to make up for Tha Carter IV push-back, and to thank the fans for supporting him on his “I Am Still Music” tour that kicks off tonight in Hartford, CT at the Comcast Theater. You can view the official front cover above and the tracklist after the jump below, which has features from Gudda Gudda, Lil B, Thugga, Dizzy, Lil Flo and T@. There are 12 songs on the tape that are all remixes of other artists’ songs, except for the “Inkredible” record that was produced by STREETRUNNER and Sarom.

The record is called “I’m On One“, and was produced by T-Minus and 40. I’m pretty sure this was originally for Tha Carter IV, but Tune has ended up giving it Khaled for whatever reason.
