Lil Wayne called into Funkmaster Flex’s radio show tonight on Hot 97 live from Rikers Island. The two spoke about Weezy’s fans and WeezyThanxYou.com, the artists he would like to work with when he is released, his daily routine, his love for sports, Eminem, Drake, Nicki Minaj, how he plans to change when he is released in November, the I’m Not A Human Being EP, and much more. Great news Wayniacs, Vibe has announced that Lil Wayne will be dropping a new EP on his birthday, September 27. The EP is titled “I’m Not A Human Being” and will feature all new material by Weezy. Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant told Vibe that the upcoming EP will serve as the prelude for Tha Carter IV. “I’m putting out a Wayne album called I’m Not A Human Being and I’ll probably drop it on his birthday, September 27,” says Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne’s co-manager and Young Money CEO.

According to Bryant, the album will be an EP of all new Wayne material to serve as the Carter IV prelude. Fans are also warned not to expect any marketing and promotion bells and whistles.

“We not about to roll out no three month set up,” says Bryant. “I’m not even putting it out in stores. We just gonna put it out virally and maybe package it up for Christmas. Give ‘em a hard copy later for fan appreciation.”

Lil Wayne Featured On Kanye West’s ‘Good Ass Job’

As if the EP isn’t enough, we have more exciting news. Weezy will be featured on Kanye West’s highly anticipated album “Good Ass Job” along with fellow Young Money artist Drake, Jay-Z, and Eminem. Supposedly three of these artists will be on one song together. Could we be seeing a “Forever” part 2 We will see on September 14th when “Good Ass Job” drops.

“Lil Wayne, it’s such a shame,” Joe told MTV News. “He’s in great spirits. I love Lil Wayne; that’s like my little brother. He’s just the coolest dude on Earth. I tell you one thing, him not being high made me realize how much funnier he is. This guy has jokes. We were up in there for four hours, just telling jokes, dying laughing, falling on the floor.

“He’s a beautiful dude,” Joe continued. “He did what he did. He had a gun on him, but people don’t really know how much of a great father that he is, great of a person he is, a friend, a loyal dude. Another thing that didn’t fit into the story was that he had reached out to Lil Wayne in jail. He wrote him a letter but he had just sent it a few days before I talked to him. He said he was still in touch with people who were going through the low points in their career like he was years ago and so he reached out to Wayne to sort of let him know he was supporting him. – SOHH

Mannie Fresh Claims Lil Wayne Tried To Ex Him Out The Game

Cash Money Records producer Mannie Fresh recently talked about his stint on Birdman’s label and claimed Lil Wayne tried to get him out of the picture:

“I just seen the dude grind, he’s doing his thing, that’s all I can really say and the biggest compliment, not to pat myself on the back but you start from somewhere, you will see you grow into something and you graduated from this school and look at the results. In the above video Drake speaks to MTV on visiting Lil Wayne in Rikers Island and recalls a few things that Wayne told him. Weezy said Drake will sell 2 million albums in the first week, not to get tattoos, and that Drake is better than him. In a recent interview Spin held with Eminem he spoke on a potential Lil Wayne and Kanye West track that he almost created. Eminem stated that dissing Weezy would have been career suicide and that he would have gotten murdered You can read an excerpt from the interview below and give us your thoughts on this in the comments.

“I thought, ‘Man, I can do that shit. He ain’t that dope,’” Em said. “I’m hearing this dude say some clever, witty shit and I’m not doing it, so I feel fucked up.” Em ultimately opted not to release the unnamed dis track. “It would have been career suicide,” he said. “They would have fuckin’ murdered me.”

Eminem recently tweeted that he is shooting a music video for his collaboration with Lil Wayne called “No Love” from his Recovery album. He also said that Weezy shot his parts before he went to prison, and for Tunechi to keep his head up. “I think I was in with Dr. Dre. I couldn’t move,” he thought back. “I think we was finishing up his records. When Dre is mixing, you don’t leave. You gotta stay posted. But I couldn’t move. So I gave it away. Fans appreciate it, though.” – MTV

In other news, Drake revealed a special version of his “Light Up” track with Jay-Z and Weezy to Rap-Up yesterday: “Drake reveals a special version of his Jay-Z-assisted track “Light Up” on which Lil Wayne spits a hard verse “live from Rikers” over a non-mixed, raw-sounding beat.” I can’t wait to hear this… if we ever will!

And in more news, Eminem spoke to Skyrock Radio in Paris over the weekend and mentioned Tunechi: “I’ve always respected what Wayne does, and Lil Wayne, to me, is definitely one of the greatest in the game right now”. I think we can all agree with what Shady said.

We finally have the official music video for Lil Wayne’s next single off his rock album, Rebirth called “Drop The World” featuring Eminem. This was suppose to premiere on March 11th, but it looks like it ‘leaked’ early. This video was directed by Chris Robinson and you can watch a behind the scenes video here.
