I wasn’t sure whether to post this Lil Wayne “Put The Light On Me” snippet or not in case it’s a verse from Tha Carter IV, but anyways it looks like it will be a Weezy verse for a feature. The track will appear on DJ Spinatik’s upcoming mixtape, Street Runnaz 60, and you can listen and download the 1 minute 30 seconds snippet below that was produced by Bangladesh.

Drake talks to MTV in the video above about Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter IV album. Drizzy says Weezy called him the other day from jail to rap him two verses from the album and they were basically just incredible haha. We can’t wait for C4 to drop, but I wonder if Tunechi will re-do the album when he gets out of jail

Good news Wayniacs, we can now look forward to another Lil Wayne feature. Game recently told MTV that he worked with Wayne before he went to jail for his new mixtape, Brake Lights. These two already collaborated for “Everything Red” from Game‘s last mixtape which we received in April. Game also revealed that one of his favorite records from Brake Lights is the title track, and he put a few guests in the mix as well. “I did a few collaborations,” the Compton MC said. “I got something I did with Lil Wayne before he left. I got something with Baby. Always gotta have them a part of anything red. Them my dudes. Waka Flocka came through to jump on the mixtape hook. I got some stuff, man.”

Great news Wayniacs, Vibe has announced that Lil Wayne will be dropping a new EP on his birthday, September 27. The EP is titled “I’m Not A Human Being” and will feature all new material by Weezy. Wayne‘s manager Cortez Bryant told Vibe that the upcoming EP will serve as the prelude for Tha Carter IV. Here is the official remix to Drake‘s song with Jay-Z “Light Up” that we have all been waiting for. Drizzy‘s and Jay‘s verses have not changed from the album version, but this time around Weezy joins in and spits a sick verse over the phone live from Rikers Island. For obvious reasons the quality in Wayne‘s verse is not CDQ, but it is much better than the rip we posted last week.
