Producer DVLP recently chopped it up with MTV about producing Lil Wayne‘s “Beat The Shit” song featuring Gunplay, which can be found on I Am Not A Human Being II.

DVLP, who also produced “Fireman” back in 2005, says Weezy knew the track would not be radio friendly and that he found the Gunplay appearance to be interesting, because he is “not the typical feature”.

“It’s funny because when Wayne played it for me after it was done, he looked at me like, ‘D, this ain’t for radio’. He let it be known right from the jump that it was a little aggressive.”

“Gunplay is also one of those dudes that has that wild-out, aggressive attitude and I think that’s why they get along, maybe personally before music. Sonically, I think Gunplay sounded pretty good on that record, actually.”

It’s been a slow few days with Lil Wayne news, so I decided to make a new post with three updates on Wayne that I wouldn’t normally make a single post for.

The first update is Cortez Bryant announced last night that the official tracklist for Weezy F Baby‘s upcoming album, I Am Not A Human Being II, will be released online this weekend. I can’t wait to see that!

The second update is Tunechi responded to Pitbull’s horrendous diss record over the “Harlem Shake” instrumental this morning. He tweeted: “Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool.”

And finally, Future recently tweeted that the next single off the forthcoming compilation album from YMCMB called Rich Gang: Flashy Lifestyle will feature himself, Weezy, and Birdman. There is currently no release date for when this song will premiere, but it should be anytime between today and May 21st, which is the actual date the project will drop.

I wonder if Tune will do his own remix over the “Harlem Shake” beat dissing Pitbull and all of those other dusty rappers who caught feelings over what he said about the Miami Heat sports team and not the actual city Miami

Soulja Boy recently spoke to Complex about his work on Lil Wayne‘s upcoming I Am Not A Human Being II album, due to be released in stores on March 26th. S.Beezy confirmed that he had produced two songs on the project and one will also include a rap verse from him. Check out what he said below:

What’s happening next with your music?
Well, I record everyday. I’m in the studio everyday. Next month, you got Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being II. I made that album, as far as production.

You’re producing on Lil Wayne’s album?
Yeah, I made a couple beats on that album. The paperwork’s already done. I made the album. I’ve been paid for it. It’s going to be dope once that record releases. I got a feature on there, me and Wayne rapping on one song. And then I got a beat on there that I produced, that they paid me for. Then I produced a couple joints for Wiz. After that, I’m looking to drop USA Dre in March 2013.

Juelz Santana chopped it up with Sway on MTV’s RapFix last night to discuss his recent visit to Miami and getting some studio time in with Lil Wayne.

In the clip above, Juelz reveals that he asked Weezy F Baby to executive produce his upcoming album, Born To Lose, Built To Win, and Weezy said he would. He also mentioned that him and Wayne have around 10 unreleased songs in the vault that no one has heard yet!

We can be looking out for Juelz Santana‘s God Will’n mixtape to drop in early 2013, which should have a Tune feature on it, and then Juelz will work on releasing his Born To Lose, Built To Win album, which will be executive produced by Tunechi.
