Lil Wayne Says: “The Hardest Part Of Being In Jail Was Going Without Sex”

Lil Wayne Says The Hardest Part Of Being In Jail Was Going Without Sex
Lil Wayne and Cher Lloyd

We have another excerpt from Lil Wayne‘s Rolling Stone Magazine interview, which hits newsstands tomorrow (January 21). Weezy tells the magazine that being behind bars wasn’t too bad, and the hardest part about it was going without sex. He also says that he was man enough to take the punishment, even though the gun was not his.

The hip-hop star told Rolling Stone the closest thing he had to companionship in his cell in Rikers Island, New York, was a picture of a woman from a magazine that he taped to the wall.

‘Anyone starts looking good in that bitch,’ he tells the US music magazine. ‘Like, ‘Damn, look at HER with that uniform on, Mrs Officer!’’

The star still insists the gun he was sent to jail over was not his, but he says he was man enough to take the punishment.

‘I dropped my nuts and took it,’ he said, referring to his eight-month prison sentence.

Robert Hoobler Speaks On Lil Wayne Going To Jail x Weezy Goes Bowling x More

Robert Hoobler Speaks On Lil Wayne Going To Jail

No one is more disappointed that Lil Wayne is jailed on gun charges than the cop who saved the rapper’s life 15 years ago after an accidental shot to the chest.

“It’s sad to see somebody get involved with guns like that – any kid, no matter who they are,” said Robert Hoobler, a New Orleans Police Department cop for two decades.

“I’m sorry to see that happened to him, but at least he admitted to what happened and took his medicine,” said Hoobler, 53, who now works for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Hoobler is more of an AC/DC and Metallica fan, but he has genuine affection for Lil Wayne.

They crossed paths in 1994 when Lil Wayne was a seventh grader living in New Orleans’ rough Hollygrove neighborhood. A call came in for shots fired, and Hoobler and other cops rushed to the address.

“We heard loud music the first time, but nothing the second time – just a little voice moaning for help,” Hoobler said.

The cops kicked in the door and found Lil Wayne covered in blood. He had dragged himself from the bedroom to the front of the apartment, leaving a bloody trail.

There were no ambulances immediately available, so Hoobler cradled Lil Wayne in his arms as they raced in a police cruiser to the nearest hospital.

That saved the rapper’s life, doctors said.

Lil Wayne has acknowledged Hoobler‘s heroics in person and in the press and he’s become a a bit of a local celebrity, recognized from a VH1 “Behind the Music” special. At the school where the cop’s grandkids attend, children ask for autographs.

Just last week, Hoobler bought his first Lil Wayne album and he has been listening to it on a boom box in his police cruiser after work.

“Now that I finally got a hold of his new CD, and see that it really turned out good, I hope he makes more of them,” he said.

Via NYDailyNews, and it’s cool to see the cop who saved Wayne‘s life is liking the Rebirth album.

Here are some photos of Lil Wayne and his ‘Father’, Birdman shooting the music video for Playaz Circle‘s “Big Dawg” single. Mack Maine and Lil Chuckee are also on the set, so maybe they will make a cameo in the video and DJ Scoob Doo was also there – maybe he is getting footage for The Nino Brown Story Part 3? Also at the bottom of this post, you can see Weezy‘s new tattoo on his neck (if you haven’t already seen it).

Looks Like Lil Wayne Will Be Going To Prison (Pleads Guilty)

Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty

Rapper Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to attempted weapons possession charges today (October 22).

As reported earlier, the rapper is expected to receive a maximum sentence of one year in jail, although he is expected to serve around eight months in prison for the offense.

The rapper had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges, but changed the plea to avoid a trial that was due to start January 20 and could have resulted in at least 3 ½ years in prison.

The guilty plea stems from an incident in New York in 2007, after police found a .40 caliber handgun during a search of his tour bus.

Originally, lawyers for Wayne planned to contest the charges.

Yesterday (October 21), the plea was entered after Wayne’s DNA evidence was allegedly found on the weapon and deemed admissible by a judge.

The DNA evidence found was reportedly small, and Wayne’s lawyers initially sparred with the prosecution over whether the DNA profiling technique used was scientifically acceptable.

Before the trial, Lil Wayne’s manager had publicly taken responsibility for the gun on the rapper’s VH1 special.

Lil Wayne, 27, also faces a trial in Arizona for felony drug possession and weapons charges, after a 2008 arrest during a routine stop at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint.

Via AHH and this is terrible news :( He will probably have to cut his dreads, and you can view a video below of Lil Wayne turning up to court earlier:

Lil Wayne To Plead To 8 Months In Jail

Lil Wayne To Plead To 8 Months In Jail

Lil Wayne will be forced to plead out to a jail term in New York City on Thursday, according to sources with AllHipHop.com.

The rapper is expected to accept an 8-month bid in jail over his alleged involvement with a loaded .40-caliber pistol gun found on his tour bus in 2007 while in New York.

The 27-year-old now faces 15 years in jail for each count of criminal weapons possession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon.

“Wayne is going to plead guilty,” a source close to the case told AllHipHop.com, stressing that this was definitely going to happen. The rapper pleaded not guilty at press time and has yet to make any such public declaration. “The date is coming up and he’s going to do it tomorrow.”

Wayne is rumored to be willing to accept the deal to avoid a long term in jail over the gun. The same source said the term will begin in February of 2010 under the terms of the deal. “If he doesn’t plead, he goes to jail for a long time,” the source said.

“They told him that if he doesn’t plead tomorrow, it will go to trial and then he faces a far longer jail term,” the source continued.

A small amount of DNA may have changed the landscape of the case, according to a report by the Associated Press. There is a “minuscule” amount of the rapper’s DNA on the gun, reports say, and that has strengthened the case for the prosecution.

Another hearing is set to resume tomorrow, where the rapper will reportedly announce his next move.

AllHipHop.com was unable to obtain comment from representatives for Wayne at press time and the rapper didn’t speak to the media at a court date earlier today.

Lil Wayne has another trial looming in March over felony drug and weapons charges from a January 2008 police raid.

Damn, this is fucked… What about on the Behind The Music episode; the cops didn’t even know who Lil Wayne was, they had to ask other people. And didn’t Cortez Bryant say the gun belonged to him too?

Also, today happens to be Lil Wayne‘s son’s birthday! Dwayne Carter III turned one today :)
