I’m sure most of you Wayniacs have already heard Lil Wayne‘s “It’s Good” record off his Tha Carter IV album featuring Drake and Jadakiss, but if not, you will be able to listen to it on August 29th when Weezy‘s album will be available in stores. Anyways, on the track (which all of the artists kill by the way), Tunechi disses Jay-Z and Beyonce with these lines:

“Talkin ’bout Baby money? I got your baby money
Kidnap your bitch, get that ‘how much you love your lady’ money
I know you fake nigga, press your brakes nigga
I’ll take you out, that’s a date nigga”

This is because of what Jay-Z said on his “H.A.M.” song with Kanye West about Birdman:

“I’m like really half a billi nigga
Really you got Baby money
Keep it real with niggas
Niggas ain’t got my lady money”

In an interview with VIBE Magazine for their October/November issue, Wayne says he is not worried about any fallout with Jay and that he doesn’t think he will take any action:

“I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did,” says a confident Wayne when asked if he had second thoughts about recording his acidic verse for ‘It’s Good.’ “I know for a fact music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can’t ever be upset about someone’s reaction. I’m not going to say I don’t know what would happen before I even say something on record,” he explains. “I do know what will happen. I’m aware of it. But it is what it is.”

Jadakiss has already said he wants nothing to do with the Lil Wayne and Jay-Z “beef” on Twitter:

When I diss niggas or have a problem with any rapper, I say there names without hesitation and y’all know this already!

Lil Wayne is getting ready to start his own clothing line, which will be called Rebirth, the same title of his experimental 2010 album. Weezy told XXL Magazine in their July/August 2011 issue that is available on newsstands now, he wants to jump into the fashion business:

“I just figure that I… I’m funky,” he explained. “I got that from my stylist, Marisa. I’m funky, like she say. I wear a whole buncha items at one time, you know what I mean? I be figuring you at least want one of them items. Like, ‘Damn, I’d love to have that safety pin he got on,’ you know what I mean? Anything. I got on these types of shoes, these shorts, this sweater… A year from now, I want all these items to be mine. Rebirth. I want—I just figure people want to be funky like me, so I got my clothing line.”

After many push backs, Bryant tells Billboard there will be no more, “August 29, it’s not changing.” “He put the mixtape and the album in my hand the same day. He turned it in to me yesterday,” Bryant tells Billboard. “It’s done for the most part, around thirty songs that I need to carve down to twelve to sixteen, with four or so bonus tracks.” So much for those unofficial track listings floating around, aye? Bryant confirmed Nas, Jadakiss and Tech N9ne will appear on “Tha Carter IV.”

To promote the long-awaited release of “Tha Carter IV,” Lil Wayne is partnering up with MTV. After Lil Wayne performs on MTV’s Video Music Awards on August 28, the fans will be be able to log on to iTunes “immediately after” to purchase the album.

Target stores will carry an exclusive of the album, Bryant tells Billboard. Bryant did not mention whether the exclusive version will include additional tracks and if so, how many.

Lil Wayne let XXL Magazine preview his forthcoming Tha Carter IV album, while they interviewed him for their July/August 2011 issue that will hit newsstands tomorrow (July 12th). They say the Outro on the album will feature Nas, Shyne and Jadakiss, and also say Weezy‘s Young Money crew, Busta Rhymes, Bun B, Tech N9ne, Cee-Lo Green, John Legend, and Will.I.Am will all be featured on different songs on the album. XXL say that Swizz Beatz, Bangladesh, Polow Da Don and Boi-1da all provided beats too!

We won’t know if this list of names are really featured on C4 or not until we get the official tracklist, which hopefully should be soon. I also noticed Rick Ross wasn’t listed as a feature, so maybe “John (If I Die Today)” was scrapped from the album

I have no idea when this DVD is dropping along with the “Nino Brown Story Part 3“, but we should be getting them this month or next. In the trailer, you can see Weezy showing off how many ringtones he has sold and a little bit of footage from the “WTF” video shoot with Shawty Lo.

In the above video DJ Scoob Doo speaks on his upcoming DVD “Entourage: Fetti Holmes Edition” which features Lil Wayne, Drake, Gucci Mane, Birdman, and many more. This DVD will give an inside view on the hip-hop world and will include personal footage from Drizzy and Weezy. It will also show clips of Gucci shooting his parts for the “Steady Mobbin’” music video. There is still no set date for “The Nino Brown Story Part 3“, but the “Entourage: Fetti Holmes Edition” will be released later this week! “I talk to Baby now and everything is okay,” Juve explained in an interview. “Everything is going really well. We plan on doing a Hot Boys album next year some time and if we don’t do it, I can definitely guarantee you that we’re definitely going to be making a lot of songs together.”
