Great news Wayniacs, Vibe has announced that Lil Wayne will be dropping a new EP on his birthday, September 27. The EP is titled “I’m Not A Human Being” and will feature all new material by Weezy. Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant told Vibe that the upcoming EP will serve as the prelude for Tha Carter IV. “I’m putting out a Wayne album called I’m Not A Human Being and I’ll probably drop it on his birthday, September 27,” says Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne’s co-manager and Young Money CEO.

According to Bryant, the album will be an EP of all new Wayne material to serve as the Carter IV prelude. Fans are also warned not to expect any marketing and promotion bells and whistles.

“We not about to roll out no three month set up,” says Bryant. “I’m not even putting it out in stores. We just gonna put it out virally and maybe package it up for Christmas. Give ‘em a hard copy later for fan appreciation.”

Lil Wayne Featured On Kanye West’s ‘Good Ass Job’

As if the EP isn’t enough, we have more exciting news. Weezy will be featured on Kanye West’s highly anticipated album “Good Ass Job” along with fellow Young Money artist Drake, Jay-Z, and Eminem. Supposedly three of these artists will be on one song together. Could we be seeing a “Forever” part 2 We will see on September 14th when “Good Ass Job” drops.

In the above video Drake speaks to MTV on visiting Lil Wayne in Rikers Island and recalls a few things that Wayne told him. Weezy said Drake will sell 2 million albums in the first week, not to get tattoos, and that Drake is better than him. In a recent interview Spin held with Eminem he spoke on a potential Lil Wayne and Kanye West track that he almost created. Eminem stated that dissing Weezy would have been career suicide and that he would have gotten murdered You can read an excerpt from the interview below and give us your thoughts on this in the comments.

“I thought, ‘Man, I can do that shit. He ain’t that dope,’” Em said. “I’m hearing this dude say some clever, witty shit and I’m not doing it, so I feel fucked up.” Em ultimately opted not to release the unnamed dis track. “It would have been career suicide,” he said. “They would have fuckin’ murdered me.”

With the forthcoming release of Scratch: The Ultimate DJ game set to take-on competition from Jay-Z’s DJ Hero and Timbaland’s Beaterator, SOHH spoke with Quincy “QD3″ Jones III about his new venture and snagging along artists like Lil Wayne and Kanye West.

According to QD3, the game will feature a variety of old-school and new records for players to kick back with.

“We’ve had complete freedom to make this game true to what people would probably want it to be,” Jones explained. “We’ve tried to represent all the different [groups] from old-school hip-hop break beats to some of the newest hits like Kanye West’s ‘Flashing Lights.’ Lil Wayne and so on and so on, Tech N9ne. I think we represented all of the different regions of hip-hop. So it’s a little something in there for everybody. Little R&B, Salt-N-Pepa, Whodini to Lil Wayne to Kanye West, it’s pretty full in that sense.”

The game will also feature tracks from various regional artists.

Music includes Gorillaz’s “Feel Good Inc,” RUN DMC’s “Peter Piper,” Nelly’s “Hot In Herre,” Deltron’s “Mastermind,” Murs’ “Looking Fly,” Kid Koala’s “Skanky Panky,” Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth’s “They Reminisce,” The Knux’s “Life in a Cage,” and more.

Reports of the new project’s creation landed online last fall.

7 Studios made a move toward being the first studio to renew the turntable-based rhythm game, announcing partnerships with DJ equipment manufacturer Numark and hip-hop producer Quincy Jones III, along with Genius Products and Genco Interactive. Dubbed, Scratch: The Ultimate DJ, the game will be played using a turntable controller, the “Scratch Deck,” designed by Numark, which promises to “allow players to re-imagine songs on the fly and add their own creativity” (no word on an MC counterpart — or b-boy, for that matter). 7 Studios joins Activision and presumably any other company with half a brain as it vies for precious mindshare of the next potential gaming phenomenon.

The BET Hip-Hop Awards 2009 nominations were announced yesterday (September 16) on 106 & Park, along with the highly respected renowned rapper, actor, screenwriter, film producer and director Ice Cube who will receive this year’s “I Am Hip-Hop” Icon Award. Kanye West leads the pack with nine nominations as Hip-Hop’s crowning night returns to Atlanta on Saturday, October 10.

Hosted by actor and comedian Mike Epps, the hip-hop event of the year returns to Atlanta’s Boisfeuillet Jones Civic Center on Saturday, October 10 to celebrate the biggest names in the game – both on the mic and in the community.

Shouts to YoRaps!, and how many awards do you think Weezy will pick up

Last night some of hip-hop and R&B’s biggest acts were honored at the 2009 BMI Urban Awards.

Reuters reports that Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Kanye West and Polow Da Don were among the big winners of the night. Both Weezy and Pain shared the Songwriter of the Year trophy while both Ye and Polow earned Producer of the Year credits. “No Air,” the collaboration between Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown, was named Song of the Year.

Funk music legend George Clinton was presented with the BMI Icon Award. Big Boi, Cee-Lo Green, Janelle Monae and Dallas Austin were among the artists that payed homage to the Parliament Funkadelic leader in a montage of his greatest hits.

Miami Boss Rick Ross was also in attendance last night as he kicked off the event performing his hit “Magnificent.”

This will be the final version of the record and it looks like they didn’t go with a R&B singer on the hook. The only difference I seemed to hear was that Kanye added a few extra bars at the beginning of his verse. This song was produced by Boi-1da and these 4 superstars will shoot the video for this massive hit next month!
