Last night (March 15th), Lil Wayne performed live for the “DEWeezy” launch concert at SXSW in Austin, Texas at the Austin Music Hall. Weezy came running out with his skateboard and rocking some Jordan XII “Playoffs” that don’t even come out for another 3 months! Leading artist development and management firm, Blueprint Group, have announced a new partnership between Lil Wayne and Mountain Dew (a drink company owned by PepsiCo) called the “DEWeezy” campaign. The sponsorship is set to launch today at the 2012 South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas. The campaign titled “DEWeezy” is made up from Mountain Dew (DEW) and Wayne‘s nickname (Weezy). Lil Wayne and Dhea hit up the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Miami Heat game yesterday (March 4th) at the Staples Center in California. Weezy was rocking his TRUKFIT gear and Dhea can be seen wearing a nice looking ring on her left hand engagement finger.
