Lil Wayne may have an impending jail sentence, but in recent days some news about the MC has set the Internet chatter ablaze: Does he have another baby on the way?

Now, as she preps her as-yet-untitled debut album, Shanell said the rumors about whether she’s dating Lil Wayne have run rampant but have no basis in reality.

“Basically it came from a corny rumor that escalated,” Shanell told MTV News. “First I was dating him, then I was his girlfriend, then we were getting married, then we were settling down and now I’m pregnant. It’s so foolish we’ve haven’t paid it any attention.”

So what of the widely circulated photo where the two are hugging?

“We’re taking a picture,” she said.

The singer-songwriter says that the dating rumors were fine, but the pregnancy chatter was not.

“All the rest of the rumors were kinda funny except that one,” she admitted. “When my mother called me like, ‘Um?,’ [I was] like, ‘No! Are you serious?’ I don’t care about the rumors, but I just want people to know that I’m not pregnant. I’ve got an album coming out, I’m a dancer, I’m in shape and children are not anywhere in my future.”

Lil Wayne agrees.

“Let me clear up this rumor, man: Shanell is not pregnant from me,” Wayne said in a serious tone on a Ustream video last weekend. “Shanell isn’t even pregnant! Period. Clear that up right now, man. Everybody talking about Shanell pregnant by … No, she not even pregnant. Period.”

Lil Wayne may not be the father this go round, but he saw the birth of three sons — from an unnamed Ohio native, singer Nivea Nash and actress Lauren London — between 2008 and 2009 alone. His first child’s name is Reginae Carter, from his marriage to Toya Carter.

MediaTakeOut.com just received word that Lil Wayne may have ANOTHER child on the way. A Los Angeles exotic dancer is reportedly telling her co-workers that she’s knocked up by the platinum selling rapper.

The woman, who is of East Indian descent and works at the popular L.A. men’s club Spearmint Rhino, told her co-workers that she just learned of the pregnancy. And that she’s discussed the baby with Lil Wayne – who wants her too keep it.

Lauren London finally debuted her VERY pregnant belly this weekend at Diddy’s white party in Beverly Hills. London is about seven months pregnant by Lil Wayne and Nivea who is also rumored to be pregnant by Wayne has been trying to contact Lauren for a woman-to-woman chat but to no avail. Lauren seems to be in a happy place and I wish her the best.

Singer and producer The Dream says he has no immediate plans to talk to Lil Wayne, who is expecting a baby with Nivea – who is The Dream’s ex-wife.

It was reported earlier this year that the Lollipop rapper had impregnated Nivea, who already has three children from her marriage to The Dream.

However, the Rockin That Thang singer – who is engaged to singer Christina Milian – says he won’t need to have words with Weezy about the rapper’s relationship with Nivea – unless the pair decides to marry.

“I’ve never met him,” The Dream says of Lil Wayne. “We’re somewhere in the grey area I guess, coz we haven’t had the chance to talk. But I wish him and Nivea the best. If marriage comes up then we’ll definitely need to have a conversation. But right now we don’t need to, coz even though she’s pregnant, there’s no real commitment between them, to the point where we’d need to have a conversation.”

The status of Lil Wayne’s relationship with Nivea is still unclear, and the rapper is also expecting a child with actress Lauren London.

I was told yesterday Lauren London was at lost for words today after finding out that her baby daddy was expecting another child yesterday. Today Nivea called Ryan Cameron’s and confirmed that she is indeed pregnant with a boy. In fact, both of them are pregnant with Wayne’s sons. This is a really bad situation, considering that she is knocked up and the baby daddy is in love with someone else. Lauren London can have any man in the world but she chooses to get with an engaged man… Is the recession effecting men too!!!! This makes Wayne about 4 babies up and 4 baby mamas down. What I gather is Nivea is implying that Wayne may have fallen for his background singer and fellow Young Money artist Shanell and she found out. (They shared a deep passionate kiss as part of the “Prom Queen” set while they were on tour). All the while she’s pregnant with a baby boy and Wayne is the “rumored” father. Actress Lauren London is also rumored to be pregnant with Lil Wayne’s child.
