The homie Matt, who used to help me with blog posts on this site, interviewed producer Develop recently for RapDose. They speak on an upcoming project Develop has coming out with Lil Wayne, working with Weezy after he was released from Rikers Island, a dope track they both did that might end up being the intro on Tha Carter IV, Rebirth, and plenty more. Drizzy Drake announced last night via his Ustream broadcast that Lil Wayne will be hosting a concert the day after he is released from prison, November 5th! Weezy will be released from Rikers Island on November 4th and the location for this concert is currently unknown. Drake said to over 30,000 fans who tuned in to his Ustream: “Undisclosed location, November 5th, the Welcome Home Weezy concert”.
In other news which happened last night, DJ Khaled signed with Cash Money Records. So you can be on the lookout for Khaled’s We The Best Forever project that will drop on the CMB label later this year.
In the video above, B.G. performs and previews his “Back To The Money Remix” featuring Lil Wayne and Birdman at the House Of Blues in New Orleans last night. He also announced that he signed back to Cash Money Records after Baby offered him a good deal.
In other news, Juelz Santana has said that the music video for “Home Run” featuring Weezy will be released this coming Friday (12th March), and their I Can’t Feel My Face project has 20 mastered tracks done, but the label politics are holding the project up.
