Lil Wayne‘s latest album, I Am Not A Human Being, that he released from behind bars has been certified gold! Weezy released the album just over two months ago, and it has just recently passed the 500,000 copies sold mark. This is second time in a year Tune has been certified gold, because in March he also sold over 500,000 units for Rebirth.

Lil Weezy is currently working on Tha Carter IV, and hopefully he will shoot a few music videos for some of the joints on the IANAHB album. Congrats once again Wayne!

Here is the music video for Lil Wayne‘s “Ground Zero” track from his Rebirth album. Shanell stars in the video, but something is telling me that this is a visual from one of SnL‘s upcoming music videos and someone just placed the audio over it. I say this because I know she shot a lot of music videos recently for some of her mixtape songs… but who knows? Lil Wayne is being recognized again, this time it is in a very big way. Forbes recently released their annual The Celebrity 100 list and it features Weezy for the first time ever. Wayne comes in at #74 and is the only rapper to make the list other than Jay-Z (Ranked #15) and Diddy (Ranked #68). Not even jail could stop Lil Wayne from making his first appearance on the Forbes Celebrity 100. Sentenced in March to a year in the pen for weapons possessions, the rapper managed to earn his hefty total from his new album Rebirth, proceeds from guest appearances and a healthy dose of touring where he grossed over $500,000 per show. Wayne is already making plans for a new album, Tha Carter IV, upon his release.
