I just woke up only to find Tune has done a remix to Wiz Khalifa’s “Black And Yellow” called “Green And Yellow“. I always wanted Weezy to do a remix to this song when he was released from Rikers, and now he has done in support of the Green Bay Packers for the Super Bowl this Sunday. Here is the official remix to Drake‘s song with Jay-Z “Light Up” that we have all been waiting for. Drizzy‘s and Jay‘s verses have not changed from the album version, but this time around Weezy joins in and spits a sick verse over the phone live from Rikers Island. For obvious reasons the quality in Wayne‘s verse is not CDQ, but it is much better than the rip we posted last week. Two days ago, we posted a video of Drake confirming that Weezy did a verse to his “Light Up” track saying: “Lil Wayne recorded one of his greatest verses ever over the phone for my track with Jay-Z – Light Up” . Earlier today in the United Kingdom, Drake went on Ustream live to promote his upcoming album Thank Me Later and he also played Tunechi‘s phone call with the recorded verse on. Don’t forget that this is only a rip of a video from the phone recording, so the quality will not be the best until Drizzy releases it. You can check it out below:
