Lil Wayne always keeps it moving. That’s the one absolute you learn about the rapper after talking with him.

When Billboard caught up with Lil Wayne — real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. — it was a couple of days after he had finished a set of shows in London, Paris and Amsterdam — and a week before he pled guilty to attempted weapon possession for an incident that occurred in 2007. Having barnstormed his way through 68 stateside shows during his top-grossing I Am Music and America’s Most Wanted tours in 2008 and 2009, he deserved a few days off. Instead, the Miami-based rapper was busy completing his free “No Ceilings” mixtape — “A big thank you to fans for coming out and showing me love every single night” of the tours.

Several leaks from the Halloween release feature Wayne rapping over beats from Jay-Z’s “Run This Town” and Fabolous’ “Throw It in the Bag.” Slated for release just after the mixtape, on November 23, is the “Mr. Carter” EP, exclusive to Best Buy.

It’s all in anticipation of Wayne’s “Rebirth.” While his Universal Motown publicist didn’t respond to several requests for comment, another source at the label says that Wayne’s legal issues — the rapper faces a possible one-year sentence; his hearing takes place in February — will not impede the often-delayed album’s December 15 release. But one question looms: Can Lil Wayne keep it moving when it comes to maintaining his sales and touring success?

While speculation about a Hot Boys reunion continues to rise with Juvenile saying last that he is unsure of the reunion happening, Juvie recently spoke with SOHH to confirm the group are getting back together:

“I like this question, I like this question,” Juvie admitted. “I’ve been talking to Baby, man. I’ve talked to Baby, he’s real behind doing the Hot Boys album thing. He done came at me three times but the whole thing was and I wanna be truthful to everybody, it was me and him talking. Me and Wayne was cool. Me and B.G. was cool, all of us was cool but I really had to talk to Baby. We had to put everything out on the table and settle our differences and that was something we’d never done. And I can honestly say it’s been done now so y’all can definitely be looking forward to that album. It’s coming. It’s confirmed [laughs] I got a check already. I always say that when people ask like, ‘Man, they already paid me on the Hot Boys album,’ so you know, with me, I’m already in. It’s just a matter of everybody else being in. I don’t think it would be right if we left Mannie Fresh out. Don’t you think? He was the producer, he did all the music for Hot Boys, so we gotta have him involved, if he don’t do the whole album [then] he gotta do something on there.”

Finally this has been confirmed, and Birdman announced on his UStream earlier announced that the Hot Boys reunion album will drop next year.

Around the 1 minute mark Juvenile speaks on the Hot Boys reunion and says that it probably won’t come this year, but he guarantees that they will do one.

So what do y’all think Will this reunion happen or not

While rumors of a Hot Boys reunion have been circulating the net for some time now, it has yet to materialize. During a recent interview Juvenile told XXLMag.com that all four members of the group have yet to hit the studio together.

“They already gave me some money on that project but I don’t really know what happened to that,” Juvie told XXL. “I would love to give people a concrete answer but all I can tell you is I did receive some money for that project. I don’t know what happened with the business on everybody else so I can only speak on a Juvenile standpoint.”

Although he has already been compensated, Juvie says that himself, Lil Wayne, B.G. and Turk, have yet to make any new tracks together. When asked if they have even recorded any new music, the New Orleans native replied, “Nah we never made it to that point. “ He does assure us, on the other hand, that him and B.G. have shared the vocal booth together on one track.

Damn, this is crazy, I could of sworn that Birdman said they have been in the studio and already cooked up some tracks. I remember him also saying the Hot Boys reunion album will be out sometime in March 2010, but I doubt that!
