Throwback Thursday: Lil Wayne & Curren$y – Diamonds And Girls [Tribute To Prince]

Lil Wayne & Currensy Diamonds And Girls Prince Tribute

Instead of doing a “Feature Friday” installment tomorrow, I thought I would do a “Throwback Thursday” post today in honor of music artist Prince, who was found dead earlier this morning at just 57-years-old.

In 2007, a Lil Wayne and Curren$y song surfaced online called “Diamonds And Girls” that was recorded for Tha Carter III, but of course didn’t end up appearing on the album. The track sampled Prince‘s “Diamonds And Pearls” single, which appeared on his album of the same title back in 1991.

“And here’s my most funniest joke: I’m broke”

You can listen to “Diamonds And Girls” after the jump below. R.I.P. Prince!

Weezy is featured on a song called “4 My Dawgs“. However, he is only performing the hook and doesn’t have a verse.
