For the cover story, Tune spoke on his childhood, who he gets his work ethic from, the early days with Cash Money, his mother Jacida Carter, how he relates to Jay-Z’s “Lucky Me” song that he has tattooed on his body, listening to Prince, why he learned to play the guitar, authenticity in music today, 2Pac, where his head was at when recording Tha Carter and Tha Carter II, wanting to sit at the top of the Green Monster at a Boston Red Sox game, going to university just to show his kids that they have to go to school, where he sees himself in 10 years time, and plenty more.

Weezy F Baby also mentions that he first started work on Tha Carter V album when he was just 5-years-old, not remembering what he recorded in the studio last night but he does have it playing in his cars to remind him, and hints at a Tha Carter 13 album.

August Alsina Talks Nearly Signing To Cash Money & Wanting To Work With Lil Wayne

August Alsina, who is currently signed to Def Jam, recently sat down with Vlad TV to chat about how he nearly signed to Cash Money Records and wanting to work with Lil Wayne.

The 21-year-old music artist explained that he was going to join CMB at first, because he is from the same place as the bosses, New Orleans, but after four meetings in a year with Birdman and Slim, he felt like they weren’t ready to promote him at the current moment.

When asked if he wants to work with any of the YMCMB artists, Alsina mentioned that he hopes to bump into Weezy F Baby at some point of his career, as well as discussing how the label is an influence to every upcoming artist out of the N.O.

Thanks to Abubakar for the heads up! Would you like to see a August Alsina and Tunechi collaboration?

50 Cent Talks Relationship With Lil Wayne, Pusha T Calls “Dedication 5” Trash

In the clip above, you can listen to two recent interviews about Lil Wayne; one from 50 Cent with Funk Flex on Hot 97 and one from Pusha T with DJ Envy on Sirius XM’s Hip Hop Nation show.

50 talked about how Young Money overtook Cash Money, his relationship with Wayne, when they last chopped it up, working on business projects with Ronald “Slim” Williams, New Orleans, and more. Kidd Kidd also joined in the interview and mentioned that him and Tune have had some history in the past, appearing on Dedication 5, and confirms they have a collabo on Street Fame.

Pusha chatted about why he keeps sending shots to Weezy F Baby, who he says has fell off, and not responding to Jae Millz. He also thinks Tunechi‘s Dedication 5 mixtape is trash.

I’m sure everyone by now knows that Pusha is a joke and you can’t take anything he says seriously. Anyways, would you Wayniacs like to see a 50 Cent and Lil Wayne collaboration in the future :?:
