Lil Wayne’s, Drake’s and Lil Twist’s manager, Cortez Bryant, speaks on Weezy’s Tha Carter IV album in VIBE Magazine’s latest issue which hits newsstands later this week. Before Lil Wayne went to jail he told me, “When I’m gone, I don’t want my fans to feel like they miss me.” So he gave me Tha Carter IV before he went in- 20-something songs. Gee and I listened to them, but as time went on- I talk to Wayne everyday- it inspired me that he’d been writing inside. So I decided I wanna brand Carter IV as that Wayne the world’s been waiting to hear. It’s now gonna be all fresh-out-of jail material. Tha Carter Brand is so large I wanna make sure we don’t go backwards.

So basically, I think what Wayne’s team are gonna do is put 10 of the songs from what Wayne gave Tez on the I’m Not A Human Being EP (dropping September 27th), and then when Wayne gets out of prison he will re-do all of Tha Carter IV album. We have already heard one song from the EP and we know for a fact that Lil Twist and T-Streets will be featured on there. There are also some rumors going around that a new version of “Told Y’all” and a new version of “I’m Not A Human” will be on the EP along with the “30 Minutes to New Orleans” track (but using a different beat). The first song is called “Pass The Dutch“, and on the record is Lil Wayne, Short Dawg, Drake, and Gudda Gudda. The second song is the outro on the album titled “Finale“, and on that record is every single one of Young Mula except for Short Dawg. We will be not posting any more songs from the album, so make sure you go and pick up We Are Young Money from your store or iTunes when it drops!

The Young Money album is slated for November 24, as is Lil Wayne’s Rebirth LP, according to a source in his camp.

No doubt about it, the New Orleans Fireman is loaded. Rap’s most popular mic king just kicked off Young Money Presents: The America’s Most Wanted Music Festival, and one of Weezy’s main goals on the tour is to make sure his Young Money artists get shine. While you know all about Drake, Nicki Minaj and newest member Omarion, we thought we’d put you onto game about the rest of the clique.

“Gudda, he’s got this aggression about him,” Wayne told us about the artist who’s been with him the longest. Gudda Gudda has been riding with Wayne since he was a teenager on Cash Money.

“What people don’t know, Gudda started rapping several years ago,” Weezy added. “He started rapping because I said, ‘I like your look. You should rap.’ I wrote his first rap for him, and I never written another rap for him ever since that day I told him he should be a rapper.”

Representing the younger faction are Lil Twist, who’s on the tour riding his Segway scooter around, and Lil Chuckee, who uses his feet to cover ground backstage.

“His energy, he’s a pure entertainer,” Weezy said of Chuckee. Wayne is also a fan of Chuck’s swag. “I know that kid is gonna make it. It’s like in sports when you got that Kobe Bryant. You don’t know what to do with him, whether to play him the guard, center, small forward — you just know we’re gonna win with him.”

Rounding out the clique are mostly names you’ve heard of: Mack Maine, Tyga, Jae Millz, D. Woods’ sister Shanell (also known as SNL) and T-Streets.

“He’s more like my brother,” Wayne said of Streets. “He’s been with me since Gudda. He’s like my protector. Anybody wanna play games, T-Streets is right there. So I make sure T-Streets is on everything I do, always around.”

Shouts to MTV and let’s hope this is the last pushback.

We are blessing y’all with no DJ version of the full “RoadBlock” song by Young Money which we posted two days ago tagged. It is Lil Wayne, Shanell, Mack Maine and T-Streets and it is still unknown whether or not this will be on the Young Money compilation album/mixtape. You might of seen a ‘fake no DJ‘ version of this song going around where a website claims to have it as an exclusive… Well we can tell you that it was fake as the song was shorter and they removed our ‘LilWayneHQ.com’ tags, but the funniest thing was, they did it badly (for proof, listen around 4:26). To me, this is really sad and a big SMH at the websites who posted it.
