In the interview, Spliff speaks on working with YMCMB, how Lil Wayne got hold of the “I Got Some Money On Me” beat that Spliff says he recorded in a day for Tha Carter IV album, and more. He also says Wayne has recorded 6 new songs in the studio over his producers beats, but does not know which project they are for.

Lil Wayne received 5 nominations at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, which were announced yesterday in Los Angeles. Weezy got nominated for “Best Rap Performance (Look At Me Now)“, “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (I’m On One)“, “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (Motivation)“, “Best Rap Song (Look At Me Now)” and “Best Rap Album (Tha Carter IV)“. Young Money’s Nicki Minaj and Drake also earned four nominations each.
