Tyler, The Creator recently chopped it up with MTV about meeting Lil Wayne, wanting to give a beat he produced to Weezy, and supporting Tunechi‘s skateboarding.

Tyler has dreams of working with Wayne, but he hasn’t yet built up the courage to tap his manager Christian Clancy to help put the plan in motion. “I actually have this beat that I want him on, but I was too scared to get it to Clancy to get it to them, but Wayne’s cool.”

“I wanted to kinda fan out and shit,” Tyler admitted, “but he gave me a speech about how happy he was that I won a VMA and that seeing my mom go crazy kinda made him feel like he won it too, because that shit was real as fuck.”

While the Goblin rapper and producer was taken aback by Weezy’s props, he was disappointed that he didn’t get to speak his piece and talk about his favorite Weezy mixtape. “He sat there for three minutes giving me a speech, and I’m like, ‘I just wanted to say that Da Drought 3 was my shit,’ and I couldn’t,” Tyler said with disappointment.

“It’s just weird when people from a different world come into our world,” he said. “But then again, he’s just fuckin’ having fun. That’s what people don’t get and shit. He’s learning, and I think it’s cool that he takes the time out of his day to just do some fuckin’ shit that makes him happy for the day. I just wish people would realize shit like that.”

In other news, Lil Wayne has announced that he will be headlining his own shows in Australia while he tours with Eminem later this year in the Outback. Tune will be performing in Perth on November 25th, Adelaide on November 27th and Melbourne on November 29th, as well as his two shows with Eminem on December 1st and 2nd. Rolling Stone just recently announced that Lil Wayne has extended his “I Am Still Music” tour through the summer. Weezy keeps Rick Ross as an opening act, but swaps Travis Barker, Porcelain Black and Nicki Minaj for Lloyd, Keri Hilson and Far East Movement. The tour will hit 40 cities in the US starting in Hartford, Connecticut on July 13 and ending in Woodlands, Texas on September 11. Lil Wayne has been confirmed as one of the main performers at the 2011 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival that will take place in Manchester, Tennessee from June 9 – 12, 2011. Tickets go on sale February 19 at noon EST, and you can purchase tickets from the Bonnaroo website here! Don’t forget, Tune is also performing at the 2011 Bamboozle Music Festival from April 29 to May 1, 2011!

Karen just sent over this image and news that Lil Wayne is selling out arenas on his new “I Am Still Music” tour quickly! Like we previously reported, the tickets for Tunechi‘s US tour were available for purchase today (February 4), and already Weezy has sold out at the Bryce Jordan Arena in University Park, Pennsylvania and the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York. Wayne sold 10,000 tickets within an hour of going on sale at the Bryce Jordan Arena, and over 11,000 tickets in 30 minutes of going on sale at the Nassau Coliseum. Lil Wayne has been confirmed as one of the main performers for the 2011 Bamboozle Music Festival, which will take place at the New Meadowlands Sports Complex from April 29 to May 1, 2011. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (January 4), and you can purchase tickets from the Bamboozle website here!

Good news for the UK Lil Wayne fans! Weezy has added another date to his tour in London, United Kingdom.

Lil Wayne will now perform on the 10th October in HMV’s Hammersmith Apollo venue as well as the previous dates on October 7 and 8.

The tickets will go on sale this Friday (September 4) at 9AM.

He was supposed to perform in the UK in July, but he had to postpone them dates due to his health.

Lil Wayne‘s UK shows where he was supposed to be performing on the 6th and 7th of July in London at the Hammersmith Apollo have been rescheduled.

The new dates that Lil Wayne will be touring in the UK are the 7th and 8th of October and they will still be at the same venue, Hammersmith Apollo.

There is also some good news for the fans that already bought tickets to his shows on the the 6th and 7th of July, and this is that your tickets will still be valid for the 7th October and 8th October.

Lil Wayne has postponed his forthcoming European shows, expected to kick off in Paris on Thursday, due to illness.

The rap star was set to play seven dates in Europe over the next 10 days, including the Roskilde Festival in Denmark and two dates in London.

An official statement said the musician had been forced to cancel the concerts due to “doctor-mandated rest”.

“Lil Wayne extends an apology to his fans for the short notice of this postponement,” a statement said.

“But he looks forward to returning for the performances and visitation with his fans,” the statement continued.

Fans have been advised to hold on to their tickets and wait for details of revised dates.

The shows were due to take place in Paris, Roskilde, London, Amsterdam, Liege and Thurgau in Switzerland.
