Lil Wayne’s Lawyer Says “No Charges For Drug Bust” + Concert Tonight

Looks Lil’ Wayne will walk away from yesterday’s drug bust in Texas unscathed, at least according to his lawyer.

Lil’ Wayne, along with 11 other people, was detained yesterday in Falfurrias, Tex. by the United States Border Patrol after marijuana was discovered on board his tour bus.

The Border Patrol says Wayne and the others were questioned and charges are pending. His lawyer tells TMZ that while some people did receive citations, Lil’ Wayne was not one of them.

Lil’ pled guilty in October to attempted criminal possession of a weapon stemming from a 2007 traffic stop of his tour bus. He is set to spend a year in jail and will appear for sentencing in February 2010.

UPDATE: The Laredo Entertainment Center, where Lil Wayne was supposed to perform last night but didn’t, tells TMZ he will perform there tonight to make up for the canceled show.

Lil Wayne is dropping his official mixtape “No Ceilings” tonight We don’t know a time, but like we said yesterday, the tape will be dropping on WeAreYoungMoney.com. As soon as the mixtape drops, we will post it on LilWayneHQ.com too.

A few days ago, the mixtape “No Ceilings” leaked but the official version dropping tonight will have some brand new songs on it.

Also, Lil Wayne will be broadcasting live on Lil Twist’s UStream channel when the tape drops tonight to talk about “No Ceilings“.

“Forever” Music Video Premieres Tonight + Info On “Transformer” Music Video

Tonight on BET 106 & Park, LeBron James will premiere the music video to Drake‘s, Kanye West‘s, Lil Wayne‘s and Eminem‘s single “Forever” which is off LeBron’s soundtrack, More Than A Game.

Also, last night the music video for Chris Brown‘s “Transformer” track was shot featuring Lil Wayne. The video was shot in LA, and of course Tammy Torres was there like she is with all the videos with Weezy in The sexy Rosa Acosta was also on set:

Reminder: Lil Wayne’s “Behind The Music” Is Tonight

Wassup Young Moneyians, just giving you all the reminder that Lil Wayne‘s “Behind The Music” premieres tonight on VH1 at 10:00PM.

The show will document Weezy‘s life as a musician including how he lost his virginity at the age of 11, dealt drugs, snorted cocaine, New Orleans, Cash Money Records, family, Hurricane Katrina, syrup, his albums, Grammy Awards, and it will also show the tale of how a cop saved Wayne from an early death.
