Lil Wayne’s Thoughts On Donovan McNabb Trade x Tiny & Toya Season 2 Episode 1

Lil Waynes Thoughts On Donovan McNabb Trade x Tiny & Toya Season 2 Episode 1

Lil Wayne blogs for the second time from Riker’s Island, and this time Wayne‘s letter is about Donovan McNabb going to the Washington Redskins. You can read Weezy‘s blog below, and he also tells us his top five NFL Draft picks:

I think this will be a great thing for all involved, except the Eagles. One reason is because I don’t think Andy Reid was ready to part ways with the soon to be 34 year old veteran. He still had a year left on paper with the Eagles, And though I don’t think they would’ve given him an extension, for some reason I think Andy would’ve liked to see Donovan play it out. Although Reid put the word out that he was entertaining offers a few weeks ago to the coaches and GM’s. I don’t think he was the brains behind that move. i think this was above him. Another reason is because of where he eneded up. Why send him to Washington? Now he gets to play the eagles twice. I’m sure he has those days marked already. The other reason is the Eagles don’t have sufficient QB to fufill the role. I mean the 2nd round pick, Kevin Kolb, and Michael Vick doesn’t exactly fit the bill if you ask me. Philly is a hard place to play and an even harder place to play for. My sympathy gees out to Kolb and Vick, who will be expected to do nothing other than win.

Now McNabb is headed to the great QB coaching of Shanahan. This will be great! He’s still a prime QB, despite the fact that he hasn’t played a full season all but once in the last six. He’s a post season shoe in. I’m glad he didn’t end up with the Raiders. He wouldn’t have a shot! I’m calling this the craziest QB trade since Brett to the Vikings.

Congrads to Duke & Coach K, as well as UCONN women and gents. I think both of those guys need new day jobs. More complicated ones. NBA, WNBA!

My Top 5 NFL Draft Picks are:
1. Ndamukong Suh / Jimmy Clausen
2. Gerald McCoy
3. Eric Berry
4. Dez Bryant
5. Russel O Kung

So Lil Wayne Does Have A Job In Prison…

So Lil Wayne Does Have A Job In Prison

After the story about Lil Wayne having a job at Riker’s Island to watch over suicidal inmates turned out to be bullshit (says Toya), VIBE got some info from a correctional officer who works at Riker’s, and it turns out that the story was true after all. Check out what the source said below:

Turns out he is working as a Suicide Prevention Aide patrolling the suicidal inmates in his unit. According to a Riker’s corrections insider there are three SPAs for each unit in the Eric M. Taylor Center where Wayne resides.

“He works the midnight shift in his unit,” says the source. “He starts at 11pm and ends at 7am.”

According the source, Wayne took a test for the position that is one of the better jobs offered. “The other inmates clean, work in the pantry, they all have some kind of job but his allows him to be alone.”

As for how Weezy is holding up: “He’s a perfect gentleman,” says the source. “He’s respectful, he keeps to himself. He doesn’t want any trouble. He wants to do his time and get the fuck out.”

I’m really not sure what to think about this… someone like Mack Maine needs to come out and say if this ‘supposed’ job that Wayne has is true or not. What do you all believe :?:

Lil Wayne Has A New Job In Prison: To Watch Over Suicidal Inmates

Lil Wayne Has A New Job In Prison To Watch Over Suicidal Inmates

Lil Wayne makes his living as the bestselling rapper on the planet, but while serving his year-long jail sentence at New York’s Rikers Island, Weezy has entirely new job: keeping watch over suicidal inmates. Antonia “Toya” Johnson, the mother of one of Wayne’s children, tells Us Weekly, “Wayne has a job. They got him on suicide watch for other prisoners. He watches the crazy prisoners and makes sure they don’t kill themselves.” Finding himself in a 9-to-5, albeit in prison, Weezy shares a similar complaint with much of the working population. “He likes the job even though they don’t pay him much,” Toya says of the Young Money multimillionaire. Toya adds that Lil Wayne is adjusting well to prison life, and getting along with his fellow inmates. He’s even managed to avoid getting a haircut.

Via Rolling Stone, and it’s good to see Wayne is getting along fine in prison… but I wonder how much he gets paid for doing that job :?:

Update: Antonia Carter has tweeted that this story is total bullcrap: I’m angry this morning : -( who told US weekly to say I told them Wayne have a job…I never said that to them…people r Crazy!

Lil Wayne’s Ex-Wife Says His Daughter Calls Him Daily

Lil Waynes Ex-Wife Says His Daughter Calls Him Daily

Lil Wayne‘s ex-wife, Toya speaks to HoneyMag about what she has learned from her past-relationship with Wayne, how she and their daughter, Reginae feel about Wayne in prison, and how they keep in touch regularly.

Toya, what have you’ve learned from your relationship with Lil Wayne?
I learned a lot. I watched Wayne go into different phases. Each phase I learned something new. As far as his love for women; he’s not really a one woman man. I had to deal with that. I am kind of happy because he made me stronger. No BS. I learned a lot from being Lil Wayne’s wife. As long as I’ve held grudges I’ve learned to let it go.

Lil Wayne is incarcerated right now. What are your thoughts on that? How are you feeling?
No one wants to see anyone in jail, especially their kids’ father and husband. Wayne and I have a great relationship. That’s just not anywhere that I want to see him. He’s never not been accessible. As long as we’ve been talking or dating I’ve never not been able to pick up the phone and call him no matter what is going on in my life. Now he’s locked up and it’s not like that anymore. As far as my daughter, her and her father have a great relationship. She talks to him every day after school. She can still talk to him but now it’s on a schedule with calls. It’s going to be a change for these 8 months.

Did you call on Tiny to help you deal with your feelings? She went through the same thing with T.I.
Tiny has been very supportive. From watching her situation with Tip and with me being there for her, she just talked to me telling me to write him, go visit him, help him get through this. That’s what they need; letters and pictures and visits to help them make the time go by faster. That makes it easier on the baby, everybody. I had my daughter write her first letter yesterday.

How is Reginae dealing with the whole situation?
She’s saddened by the whole situation but we talk to her about it. Her dad talks to her. When he was going back and forth to court, we were all there: me, his other baby mamas, and the kids. Just being there for him, supporting him. This last time we didn’t go because it was so back and forth. We’d get there and he doesn’t go to jail. So this last time I didn’t let my daughter go because she was just up and down. It was like an emotional roller coaster for her. She was like, ‘I just wish I could have seen my dad.’

Also, season 2 of Tiny‘s and Toya‘s reality TV show will be premiering on April 13th at 10PM on BET. Do you want LilWayneHQ to start posting each episode on here when they air, or not :?: Leave a comment below letting us know.

What Lil Wayne Told His Ex-Wife & Daughter Before Prison x Bun B & Busta Rhymes Speak On Weezy’s Jail Sentence

What Lil Wayne Told His Ex-Wife & Daughter Before Prison

On Monday (March 8th), Lil Wayne officially began a one-year prison sentence at Riker’s Island for gun possession charges. But with the sentencing being postponed several times prior (due to Wayne‘s dental work and then a courthouse fire), it was an emotional ordeal for both his ex-wife Antonia “Toya” Johnson and their 11-year-old daughter Reginae.

“It was up and down, you know. One minute we thought he was going and she’d be sad and then he don’t go,” Toya told VIBE over the phone from Atlanta. “We [were] in New York like two times and we ended up turning right back around because he didn’t go.”

On the day the New Orleans rapper was finally sentenced, Toya and Reginae spoke to him but weren’t at the courthouse to say goodbye.

“The last day he finally went in, we didn’t go, so my daughter was like, ‘I wish I would’ve went.’ It was just too much. I just didn’t want to let her see that again ’cause both times she took it real hard,” said Toya. “So I was like, I’m not gon’ let her go this last time. I’m just gon’ make sure he talk to her ’cause I didn’t know if he was really gonna go. They kept pushing back.”

With Reginae so accustomed to Wayne being available, even despite his busy schedule, Toya said the time away will be difficult, but that the rapper reassured them before going in.

“He just told me to be strong and don’t really trip. Don’t let her see me down,” said Toya. “At first my daughter would see me a little sad and you know kids they react off of your feelings sometimes, so he was just like, ‘Be strong, make sure you take care of her. Make sure she straight and keep her phone on all the times so I can call her. The time is gonna fly by.’”

“The whole point of him being in jail is just not good for her—to say her dad’s in jail,” Toya continued. “But at this point it is what it is, and we just gotta make the best of it. I’ma take her to visit him and talk to him and she’ll get through this eight months. It’ll fly by. I tell her all the time, ‘Just call daddy and tell him you love him,’ and he’ll be home soon.” – VIBE
