2 Chainz Hints At Dropping His & Lil Wayne’s “ColleGrove” Leftovers

2 Chainz Hints At Dropping His & Lil Wayne ColleGrove Leftovers

2 Chainz took to his Twitter page yesterday to tease about dropping some new music from him and Lil Wayne. You can see what Chainz tweeted below:

“Got too much music stockpiled..gotta let some of it out. Maybe should start with all the fire left over from Collegrove”

This means we could finally hear the Tity Boi and Tunechi collaboration that they previewed twice (here and here) and it didn’t end up appearing on the ColleGrove album. There is of course the extended version of “Gotta Lotta too with the extra verses.

Hopefully we will get to hear these new collabos soon!

Lil Wayne Bumps I Am Not A Human Being 2 While Skating At The TRUKSTOP, Crosses Out CMB On The YMCMB Banner

Just before tweeting “ain’t smellin myself but IANAHB2 is seriously STILL one of the best lyrikal albums yet”, Lil Wayne was bumping his I Am Not A Human Being 2 album during a skateboarding session at his TRUKSTOP indoor skate park in Miami, Florida.

You can watch a 1-minute video of Tunechi skating at his private skate park with Evan Hernandez while his “Back To You” and “God Bless Amerika” songs off IANAHB2 play in the background after the jump below.

This TRUKSTOP skate park has been included in various music videos, such as “Just Right For Me” and “Do It“, so I’m sure you have all seen the “YMCMB” banner previously. However in this new clip, the “CMB” has been crossed out!

Lil Wayne Has Remixed Bill Withers’ 1972 Song “Lean On Me” To Be About Lean/Syrup

Lil Wayne Has Remixed Bill Withers 1972 Song Lean On Me To Be About Lean Syrup

Back in February, HOT 97’s Marisa Mendez went on Twitter to tweet that she “heard so many dope new Wayne tracks” and last week, A$AP Retro asked her about the new Lil Wayne music she had listened to.

Marisa revealed that one of the Tunechi songs she heard was “Mona Lisa” featuring Kendrick Lamar produced by Infamous, which we already know will appear on Tha Carter V.

Another Tune track that she had heard was a remix of Bill Withers‘ 1972 single, “Lean On Me“, that she says he recorded to being about lean aka syrup.

I’m really curious to hear this remix, so I hope we get it on Weezy‘s next project (possibly Dedication 6). You can listen to the Bill Withers version below! Is anyone else looking forward to hearing Wayne‘s version of it?

Lil Wayne Calls I Am Not A Human Being 2 “One Of The Best Lyrical Albums Yet”

Lil Wayne Calls I Am Not A Human Being 2 One Of The Best Lyrical Albums Yet

Lil Wayne went on Twitter earlier today to share his opinion on his I Am Not A Human Being 2 album, which was released just over 3 years ago.

This is a pretty rare thing from Tunechi, because Tune doesn’t really use social media at all and especially to share his thoughts on his own music.

The tweet read: “ain’t smellin myself but IANAHB2 is seriously STILL one of the best lyrikal albums yet”. So it seems like Weezy has had a change of heart after previously calling it a “bum-ass album”.

What do you Wayniacs think about this and do you agree with Wayne? My personal opinion is that IANAHB2 is a good album, but there may be one too many filler songs, as well as not needed features!
