Below, you can read Lil Wayne‘s eighth letter from Rikers Island, which will also be his last because Wayne was moved to solitary confinement a couple of days ago for the rest of his time behind bars. Weezy also told his fans yesterday on Twitter yesterday to stop sending in fanmail, because he will not be able to receive it. Free Weezy!

Hello world. Time is ticking and I’m counting every second. Because of my new limitations, this unfortunately has to be my last letter. I don’t think people truly understand how much their thoughts and well wishes have helped me through this time in my life. Not everyone is as lucky as I am and it humbles me daily. You would be amazed what positivity can do in a negative environment. I’m going to miss reading about your lives. I’m going to miss looking at the pictures. They were the highlight of my days aside from speaking with my kids. Don’t stress over this in 27 days, the ride starts again.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who is supporting I Am Not A Human Being. It amazes me each time people go out and support my music. I’ll always be in debt to you for that. Tunechi‘s manager, Cortez Bryant, mentioned yesterday that once Wayne gets out of jail, he will most likely release another mixtape of new material for his fans before he releases Tha Carter IV in 2011. Like I guessed, it looks like it will be the fourth installment of Weezy‘s Dedication series. DJ Drama tweeted this yesterday:

“So Mack Maine confirmed last night on Shade 45, there WILL be a Dedication 4…. Stay tuned”.

So we can be looking forward to a Lil Wayne and DJ Drama Dedication 4 mixtape at the end of this year or in 2011

There was some controversy over the release of The Carter documentary. Did you feel like they emphasized the drug addiction aspect too much? Is that the reason you didn’t want it released?
The fact that we didn’t want it released was business; paperwork. I feel like, if I agreed to have that camera around me, then I can’t tell that person what to edit when they go to the editing room, unless I am in the editing room and editing with them. If I’m not then I shouldn’t complain, but I was supposed to have a say-so because I had to approve it. And that was the whole [problem]. I didn’t approve it and they still put it out.

So you weren’t happy with the creative aspect or the business or both?
It was some of both. There were females on there with me and sh*t, you know? Why give them some shine when I’ve got baby mothers? I believe as an editor or whatever, as a person associated with me, if you want to become a real business partner with me I believe you should consider things like that. I shouldn’t have to be the one to consider it.

It’s been 2 and a half weeks since Lil Wayne got sentenced to a year in jail, and there has already been some rumors of him getting into a fight with another inmate. We didn’t pot this story on LilWayneHQ, because the source was MediaFakeOut, and Tony Yayo did say we will be getting a lot of rumors haha.

Young Money’s President, Mack Maine has visited Tunechi twice since he has been locked up. Mack says that Wayne is doing good and says “Wadup” to us:

The time has finally come for Lil Wayne… he got sentenced to one year in jail earlier today at around 2PM. As previously reported, Wayne‘s sentencing got delayed a couple of times due to dental surgery and a fire. If Weezy maintains good behavior inside prison, his sentence can be shortened to up to eight months which would mean he would be out later this year. Lil Tunechi‘s very last tweet on his twitter account reads: “Law is mind without reason. ……………..I’ll return”, and here is an update from today inside the Manhattan courthouse courtesy of J-Rod: “Lil Wayne didn’t speak in the court room, but nodded that he understood the charges. Then he nodded again to Birdman as police cuffed him”.

Even though we won’t be seeing Wayne for a while, we will still be getting new music and music videos from him throughout his time in prison. He shot around 30 to 40 music videos before his jail sentence and some of the music videos we can be looking forward to are: “Steady Mobbin’” and “Single” from the No Ceilings mixtape. Also, I’m not 100% sure, but Wayne might be able to use his Twitter while in prison to keep his fans updated.
