According to TMZ, sources close to Lil Wayne told them that Wayne thinks Birdman is “full of shit” after he mentioned in a new interview Tha Carter V will “definitely be coming out”.

Tunechi believes Baby is just trying to “look like the nice guy” and instead he needs to start paying what he owes Tune, because there’s been no movement in their lawsuit.

Lil Wayne Wants To Know What Birdman Spent $70 Million From Their Universal Check On & Why He Let Tyga Go

Lil Wayne Wants To Know What Birdman Spent 70 Million Of Their Universal Check On & Why He Let Tyga Go

According to TMZ who have obtained the legal documents for the ongoing Lil Wayne vs. Birdman court case, Wayne wants to know how Baby has spent $70 million that they were supposed to share as partners in their record labels Cash Money and Young Money.

Tunechi is arguing that Universal Music Group gave Birdman an advanced $100 million check for a distribution deal, but Tune didn’t see much of that money. He also wants to see proof Baby has spent around $70 million on royalties, recording and marketing expenses like he says he has.

Birdman‘s team have handed Wayne‘s team over 22,000 pages of documents to read through, which is of course a big reason as to why the lawsuit is taking a long time. However, Weezy‘s camp are saying that none of the pages include details on how the $70 million was spent.

TMZ are now reporting that Mr. Carter is annoyed at Baby for letting Tyga out of his Young Money contract with no discussion. If you didn’t already know, Ty has now signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music record label!

Lil Wayne’s Lawsuit Against Universal Music Group Has Been Put On Hold Due To The Birdman Case

Lil Wayne Lawsuit Against Universal Music Group Has Been Put On Hold Due To The Birdman Case

According to theJasmineBRAND, Lil Wayne‘s $20 million lawsuit against Universal Music Group has had to be put on hold until his case with Birdman and Cash Money Records has been resolved.

On July 29th, a Federal Court judge explained his reason behind this decision was because the 2 cases are very similar and the outcome of the Baby lawsuit will effect the Universal lawsuit.

The bad news is that Weezy‘s lawsuit against Cash Money could go on for another year even though he did reveal on “Like Dat” everything is looking good for him: “Everything’s lookin’ alright, yeah I just talked to my lawyer, it’s time to enjoy; Yeah Tune, it’s time to enjoy”.

If you missed the news back in March, Tunechi sued Universal Music Group because he believes they are repaying their own debts from the $100 million advance they gave to Cash Money instead of paying him what he is owed. He also claims that UMG are withholding royalties from both his music and his Young Money artists that he founded, such as Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga!

Lil Wayne Sues Universal Music Group Over Unpaid Royalties For His Young Money Artists

Lil Wayne has now sued Universal Music Group, who are the distributor of Cash Money Records, for withholding royalties from both his music and his Young Money Entertainment artists that he founded including Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga. He is looking for at least $40 million in damages.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the lawsuit claims that Universal are repaying their own debts instead of paying Weezy what he is owed from the $100 million advance they gave to Cash Money. If you didn’t already know, Tune has a 49% ownership stake in Young Money with the 51% belonging to CMR:

“With Universal’s knowledge of Lil Wayne’s rights to partial ownership and profits from those artists, Universal and Cash Money entered into a series of agreements which, among other things, diverted Lil Wayne’s substantial profits to repay debts of Cash Money. As a result, 100% of the profits that should have been paid to Lil Wayne as a result of his ownership of Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga records have been seized by Universal to repay debts that were neither incurred by nor were the obligations of Lil Wayne.”

Lil Wayne I Am Not A Human Being II Album Pushed Back To December

Wow, the first push-back for Lil Wayne‘s I Am Not A Human Being II album didn’t take very long. Just 2 days after we found out the project was going to be released on November 13th, Universal Republic and Rap-Up announce that the new date for the album will be December 11th.

Maybe this was a sales move as more people may purchase the album as a gift for Christmas, or maybe Weezy just didn’t think he would of finished I Am Not A Human Being II by November.
