If anyone has me on Facebook, I said we would be getting some new Lil Wayne tonight! Here, we have an unreleased verse by Weezy over a Timbaland beat that was supposed to be on Timbo‘s Shock Value II album. T-Pain is also on the chorus of this “Talk That” song, which you can stream/download below:

Here is some unreleased behind the scenes footage of Lil Wayne shooting his parts for Shakira‘s “Give It Up To Me” music video. This was shot in October 2009, and you can see the official music here which dropped the following month in November. Props DG!

IllRoots just released part two of some rare and unreleased footage from Lil Wayne and T.I. in the studio together. We haven’t heard this track before, but I hope we hear it soon because Wayne‘s verse sounds fire:

You can watch part one here, and in other news, Lil Wayne will be featured on Nas‘ and Damian Marley‘s collaboration album dropping in either May or June this year. The album is called Distant Relatives and the track Weezy makes a feature on is called “My Generation“. So here is something else we can be looking forward to hearing, and the record also features Joss Stone.

Producers Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe show us how they created the instrumental for one of the best tracks on Rebirth, “Drop The World“. They also tell us how they sent it to Lil Wayne, who then sent it to Eminem. The music video for this song is set to premiere on March 11th, and I’m sure Derick G will be releasing the behind the scenes photos and footage from the video shoot soon!
