Jay-Z Hello Brooklyn 2.0 Feat Lil Wayne

I have chosen Jay-Z‘s “Hello Brooklyn 2.0” song featuring Lil Wayne for this week’s “Feature Friday” installment. The Bigg D-produced track appears on Jay‘s tenth studio album, American Gangster, which was released back in 2007.

“Where Brooklyn at? Where Brooklyn at? Have you seen her? And when she tell you something you better believe her; She told me she like my New Orleans demeanor; And so I said goodbye Katrina, and hello Brooklyn”

You can listen to “Hello Brooklyn 2.0” below and also watch a classic live performance of both Jay-Z and Weezy F Baby performing the record live at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan, New York City on November 11th, 2007.

    • Skenny

My dick should been in your ass since day one.

  • Dev

    That performance is classic

    • [Original] Gudda Gudda

when he performs Duffle Bag Boy after it is better than the Brooklyn performance

      • Jae Millz

The Brooklyn 2.0 mashup with the Brooklyn We Go Hard beat is way better. It was on The Empire’s “Rikers Island Redemption” mixtape.

    • fewcha

wayne with that biggie shirt on

  • Tune Up

    Wayne > Jay Z

  • I hope they both out aside their differences and work together on c5.

    • Jae Millz

Fuck that monkey ass looking motherfucker. That piece of shit insulted Birdman on several occasions. Plus did I mention he looks like a Silverback?

      • cvon

And now he’s dissin drake too… He’s just fallin off and tryin to diss people to stay relavent

  • JustAGuy234

the performance is nice but this was one of waynes not so great features.
countless reviews of that album noted waynes verse as one of the low points of the album.

a lot of people were surprised, at how this came out. BUT Jay still gave wayne a nice verse on mr. Carter

  • fewcha

can’t believe wayne called jay the best rapper alive in that video -_-

    • Tune Up

Yea but he also said “The next rapper in line” and he had 1mill the next year for C3. Wayne no he’s the best and even Jay know, that’s why Jay wouldnt dare diss Wayne in his prime.

      • JustAGuy234

realize… jay and wayne have a healthy back and forth. jay and wayne been throwing shots AND complimenting since around 03…. so your theory is wrong. Jay has made jabs at wayne all through his prime and wayne has jabbed back. it never becomes anything more because they BOTH have said its all just part of the sport.

  • LilWeezyAna

NO FUCKING WAY. I was just singing this song all day yesterday and it ended up being the next feature Friday. What’s the odds of that with all the features he has?

Lil Wayne will always be better than Jay Z. The only thing Jay have over Wayne is money, Jay worth $ 520 Million and Wayne worth $ 135 Million

    • Jae Millz

That is because Jay Z had a book that was on the Oprah show… smh fucking faggot piece of shit monkey mother fucker

      • Jae Millz

  • Chuck_Brazy
