Huge news! Lil Wayne will receive the Key to the City of New Orleans at this year’s Lil Weezyana Fest!
According to the city’s official website, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell will personally present the honor.
Also, joining the event will be NOLA’s Entertainment Ambassador, Master P, who will present Wayne with a special Career Achievement Award.
Overall, this tribute highlights Weezy‘s deep connection to his hometown and his influence on the culture, making him a celebrated figure in New Orleans and the global music scene.
The 2024 Lil Weezyana Fest will take place later today (November 2nd) at the Smoothie King Center in Louisiana.
