Lil Wayne has officially announced the release date for his highly anticipated album, Tha Carter VI, in a new Cetaphil Super Bowl commercial.
Throughout the ad, several easter eggs hint at a 6/6/2025 release date. From jersey numbers to scoreboard details, the clues all point to June 6th, 2025.
Additionally, at the very end of the commercial, Weezy F Baby is asked if he’s going to the Super Bowl. He responds: “nah, this is time sensitive”. Following this, as the studio door closes, a sign reads:
“Do Not Disturb ‘Til 06-06-25 Carter VI”
To further confirm, a pre-save link for Tha Carter VI is now live on Tunechi‘s Universal website, locking in the June 6th release date.
