BET announce the nominations for their 25th annual BET Awards, and Lil Wayne received a total of 3.
Weezy earned a nomination in the “Best Male Hip Hop Artist” category, where he will go against BigXthaPlug, Bossman DLow, Burna Boy, Drake, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Key Glock, and Tyler, The Creator.
He also grabbed two nominations in the “Best Collaboration” category. This was for “Bless” with Young Thug and Wheezy, and “Sticky” with Tyler, GloRilla and Sexyy Red.
Furthermore, they will go against SZA’s “30 For 30“, Doechii’s “Alter Ego“, Teddy Swims’ “Are You Even Real“, Dee Billz’ “Beckham“, Future’s “Like That“, Kendrick Lamar’s “Luther“, and The Weeknd’s “Timeless“.
This year’s BET Awards will air live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on June 9th at 8:00PM EST. Moreover, comedian and actor Kevin Hart will host the event. Good luck Tunechi!
