Lil Wayne‘s concert in Tinley Park, Illinois this past Sunday night (August 24th) ended with a truly emotional moment between him and a longtime fan.
Backstage at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre, Wayne met with Sade Stephens and her mother, Andrea Carson, for a heartfelt experience.
Sade, who has been a loyal Weezy F Baby fan for years, finally had her 17-year wish come true.
Tunechi not only took photos and spent time chatting with Sade and Andrea, but he also removed his cross pendant and chain to gift directly to Sade.
Andrea described the experience as one of the best days of her daughter’s life.
Back in 2008, Sade was a high school senior passionate about music and dancing. She was excited to see Tunechi and Keyshia Cole in concert that December.
However, while skating that same night, Sade tragically suffered a cardiac arrest, leaving her non-verbal and wheelchair-bound.
Despite her challenges, she still loves music deeply, especially songs from Mr. Carter.
This Chicago meet and greet gave Sade and her family an unforgettable memory with the rapper she calls the G.O.A.T.
