Cory Gunz recently sat down with Memphis Bleek for a one-on-one interview on Drink Champs’ “ROC Solid” podcast.
At around the 14:55 mark, Memphis asked Cory about his “6 Foot, 7 Foot” verse from Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter IV single.
He brought the record up because he had only just found out what “Dramamine” actually means.
However, Bleek kept annoyingly calling it Gunz‘ “A Milli” verse, which is totally wrong.
The JAY-Z affiliate still showed Wayne a huge amount of respect during the conversation.
He said: “[Lil] Wayne is nice” and added that “Wayne is definitely super talented, super dope”.
The Young Money Gunna then revealed that Weezy F Baby originally played him “6 Foot, 7 Foot” with three Weezy verses on the track. Cory then went away and wrote two verses for the song.
Afterward, Gunz spoke about his relationship with Tunechi and how they first connected properly.
He explained how he eventually signed to Young Mula and joined the team officially.
Then he remembered doing an earlier collaboration (“I Got Cha“) with Tune during the Tha Carter III promo run.
Around the 1:11:00 mark, Cory Gunz also dropped some exciting news. He announced that he has new music with his “bro” Lil Wayne dropping soon.
