Lil Wayne’s “No Ceilings” Mixtape Is Coming To Streaming Platforms!

Lil Wayne No Ceilings Mixtape Coming To Streaming Platforms

Good news! Lil Wayne‘s classic mixtape, No Ceilings, will finally be coming to music streaming services, such as Spotify and Apple Music, this year.

According to someone who works closely with Cortez Bryant and Wayne‘s ex-road manager, Jamil Davis revealed on social media that “Tez has assured me that it’s going to happen this year” when talking about No Ceilings dropping on streaming platforms.

“Cortez Bryant heard the fans y’all. The greatest mixtape of all time is coming to streaming services! I can’t say the date but Tez has assured me that it’s going to happen this year! IT ONLY MAKES SENSE!”

As this Halloween (October 31st) marks the 10-year anniversary of No Ceilings, you would guess that this is when Tune‘s team plan to release it on streaming services, which is also similar to what Drake did with his So Far Gone mixtape on its 10-year anniversary.

Are you looking forward to officially being able to stream Tune‘s No Ceilings tape? Could the Free Weezy Album be next?!

Lil Wayne Talks Funeral Album, New Generation Rappers, Working With American Eagle & More

Pierce Simpson from Complex sat down with Lil Wayne for a one on one interview to promote his new Young Money clothing line with American Eagle, which Cortez Bryant first told us about last month before we then saw a preview of the collection earlier this month.

During their conversation, which you can watch below, Wayne also spoke on what his favorite piece from his new fashion line is, being shocked that American Eagle wanted to work with him, new generation rappers, TRUKFIT, how the last 18 months of his life have been, his upcoming Funeral album, and more.

While discussing Funeral, Tunechi says Tez Poe has a release date for the project, but he doesn’t want to announce it as of right now and so it’s “coming soon”. Tune even explained that he never records music for a specific album; he just records a bunch of songs and lets Tez pick which ones will appear on the certain project. It is very “rare” Weezy is in the “I’m about to go record this album” mode as it has only ever happened once, which was when he was locked up in jail!

“The biggest deal we did was with Lil Wayne and Samsung; it enabled us to surpass iPhone for the duration of the campaign. Wayne didn’t even use Galaxy phones! But authenticity can be built.” – Matt Ferrigno

Lil Wayne Wants Cash Money’s Lawsuit Against His Company Aspire Music Group Thrown Out

Lil Wayne Wants Cash Money Lawsuit Against His Company Aspire Music Group Thrown Out

According to The Blast, Lil Wayne and his music company Aspire Music Group filed documents at the end of October to the court requesting them to dismiss Cash Money Records‘ countersuit.

Aspire, which was co-founded by Tunechi and his former manager Cortez Bryant, have told the court that Cash Money only filed this lawsuit after Tune won his lawsuit against Birdman earlier this year even though the alleged fraud took place years ago. They even pointed out that the accusations from CM don’t make any sense as Wayne would have to participate in more acts that would end up harming him financially.

This lawsuit all began last year when Aspire Music Group sued Cash Money and Universal for not paying them their earnings owed from Drake‘s royalties. CM then counter-sued AMG and accused Weezy and Tez of creating this record label as a way to get richer by receiving a bigger share of Drizzy‘s royalties, as well as claimed the company has never conducted in any business other than helping the Canadian rapper get signed!

Birdman Claims Lil Wayne & Cortez Bryant Have Been Arranging A Way To Earn A Bigger Share Of Drake Royalties

Even though it seemed like everything was getting back to normal between Lil Wayne and Birdman, it looks like their feud is still ongoing.

According to The Blast, Baby is accusing Wayne and his manager/best friend Cortez Bryant of taking part in an elaborate plan to earn more money from Drake‘s music.

Last year, Aspire Music Group, which is a record label co-founded by Tez Poe, sued Cash Money Records and Universal Music Group for not paying the revenue that they owed from Drizzy‘s royalties.

After looking at the documents, Aspire are claiming that they discovered the 6 God and have a deal in place with Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money permitting them to a 1/3 share of the net profits from Drake‘s first six projects.

Birdman and CM counter-sued Aspire Music Group‘s lawsuit on Friday (August 17th) by accusing Weezy and Tez for plotting with their lawyer Ronald Sweeney to get richer off a bigger share of Drizzy Drake‘s royalties:
