During his appearance at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the 2016 E3 video game conference in California on June 15th, Lil Wayne sat down with Tamara Dhia from Complex for an interview.

Weezy spoke all about his “Sqvad Up” app, the object of the mobile game, thinking about putting prostitutes and new music in the next update, his hometown Hollygrove, why he decided to start skateboarding at 29-years-old, what he likes the most about skating, pouring his champagne, and more.

You Can Now Download Lil Wayne’s “Sqvad Up” Game!

After first getting word about his new business venture a few days ago, Lil Wayne‘s “Sqvad Up” mobile game that was developed by mobile/technology company UTILITY has now been released and is available to buy from Google Play and the iTunes App Store.

The app/game, which is free, includes music from New Orleans artist Nesby Phips and is set in Tunechi‘s hometown Hollygrove. However, an update will soon include the cities of the other places that Tune lives in – Miami and Los Angeles.

Professional skaters Tyreek Morrison, Evan Hernandez, Yosef “YoYo” Ratleff, Andre Colbert, Jereme Knibbs, and Edgar Benitez are all unlockable characters. The goal of the game is to skate and fly on drones through Hollygrove while collecting money, but making sure to avoid birds and other obstacles/hazards.

Lil Wayne Announces He Has His Own Video Game Titled Sqvad Up On The Way

While we continue to wait on the upcoming release of Tha Carter V, it looks like Lil Wayne will be entering the video game business after his new venture announcement with mobile/technology company UTILITY.

Weezy went on Twitter yesterday to share a preview of an upcoming game called “Sqvad Up” that included him doing a voice-over: “Welcome to Hollygrove, my town. Sqvad Up coming soon!”

There aren’t too many details about the game just yet, but it seems like it will be an app based on skateboarding that can be played on mobile devices as it will be released through Google Play for Android and the iTunes App Store for Apple.

UPDATE: The game, which will include Tune‘s fellow skaters Tyreek Morrison, Evan Hernandez, Yosef “YoYo” Ratleff, Andre Colbert, Jereme Knibbs, and Edgar Benitez, will let users to skate around New Orleans while dodging obstacles and hazards. It will also be available for download on June 10th!

Jonathan Mannion Talks Shooting ColleGrove Artwork, 2 Chainz Explains Why Lil Wayne Is A Living Legend

In a recent interview with Rebecca Haithcoat for Instagram Music, 2 Chainz and Jonathan Mannion (who shot the cover) discuss all about the artwork for ColleGrove.

Jonathan talked about how he photographed Lil Wayne while on set of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” in February after shooting Tity Boi a couple of weeks beforehand:

“I set up a portable studio behind [Wayne’s] trailer on the set of ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’. With 2 Chainz, I shot him about two weeks before that, in a studio in Los Angeles. It was me and a retoucher. I was like, it really has to look like these tattoos sink into his face as if they’re his own.”

Chainz spoke on coming up with the idea for the ColleGrove album artwork, having to slap himself sometimes to realize that Tunechi is one of his realest friends, and why he believes Tune is a “living legend”:
