After going Gold earlier this year, the RIAA have confirmed Kodak Black and Lil Wayne‘s “Codeine Dreaming” collaboration was certified Platinum on August 17th.

This means that the Infamous and Ben Billions-co-produced single, which can be found on Black‘s Project Baby 2: All Grown Up, has surpassed over 1 million in streams and sales since it was released last year.

Earlier this month, we got word that Lil Wayne played Tha Carter V for Harvey Soto (who said it “sounds crazy“), and now it looks like Wayne has played his forthcoming album for another professional skateboarder.

Shane O’Neill took to social media to write “C5 is coming out soon. For real” along with a goat emoji and the picture above of Weezy doing a BS Wallride skate trick in Los Angeles that was captured on camera by Jake Darwen.

In related news, an “unnamed source” confirmed to DJ Booth last month that Tunechi‘s Tha Carter V project is “tentatively slated for release later this year”. When do you think Tune will be dropping C5?

According to the RIAA, Kodak Black‘s “Codeine Dreaming” single featuring Lil Wayne was certified Gold on March 19th.

This means that the Infamous and Ben Billions-co-produced song, which appears on Kodak‘s Project Baby 2: All Grown Up project, has sold and been streamed over 500,000 times since it was released at the end of 2017.

Even though he assured Lil Wayne‘s team at the start of the year he will not be teasing or leaking anymore music from Wayne‘s Tha Carter V album, Martin Shkreli has gone and done the complete opposite.

Last week during a live stream session, Martin played a snippet of Weezy‘s “Mona Lisa” collaboration with Kendrick Lamar off C5 that was produced by Infamous. He even claimed it was the best song on the project.

In related news, X17Online caught up with Cortez Bryant at an airport to ask him about Shkreli teasing Tha Carter V music to which he mentioned they are on top of the situation with lawyers.
